Treat it cleanly

Move the unconscious Pal out of your party or the base roster and into a normal Palbox storage slot.

Leave it stored for 10 minutes
The countdown appears on the Pal portrait. Keep the world running until it completes.

Allow extra HP recovery if needed
Once revived, the Pal can regenerate normally. Give it more Palbox time before a difficult redeployment.
Why it happens
Reaching zero HP in combat, raids, or environmental damage.
Leaving a starving base Pal stuck away from its Feed Box.
Continuing a difficult fight after the Pal is already badly injured.
Stop it coming back
Recall party Pals before a lethal attack and rotate in a healthy team member.
Keep Feed Boxes accessible and inspect base pathing after construction changes.
Use Recovery Meds before health reaches zero; they cannot help after incapacitation.
