How to Get Jetragon

Fly to [-553, -1332] in the Sunreach sky islands and fight the level 70 field boss. It is the only real Jetragon in the game, and it is tied for the highest boss level.

One boss, high above Sunreach

A single level 70 field boss on the sky islands, 0.08 km from Dragonmark Peak. The nearest mapped fast travel statue is 0.41 km out, so the last leg is a short flight. Reaching Sunreach at all is the real gate, and that is a tower portal rather than a map pin.

You cannot fish a Jetragon

Jetragon does turn up in two fishing tables: at 15 percent of Spot_01 for levels 10 to 20, and alone in Spot_Test at level 1. Neither follows the FishingSpot naming every one of the 824 real fishing spots uses, and none of the 469 mapped spots resolves to them. They are leftover developer test tables, sitting beside five single-entry ShadowCheck tables that hold nothing but Jelliette.

◆Overkill is the expensive failure here, not death. The fight is a long flight from anywhere, so put the team on passive before the health bar gets low rather than after.
◆The Rocket Launcher Schematic 4 in its kill table is the same weapon class you want for fighting it. Catching it first and farming the kills afterwards is the order that works.
Why bother
Jetragon is the fastest mount in the game, with a ride sprint of 3300 against Panthalus in second place at 3000. Aerial Missile lets you fire a missile launcher while flying, for 35 seconds on a 60 second cooldown. It is also the only Pal in the roster with Gathering 8.

Can you catch Jetragon by fishing?

No. Two fishing tables in the files name it, one at level 1 on Easy difficulty, and neither matches the naming every real fishing lottery uses. They are developer test tables and no mapped fishing spot uses them.

What level should I be to catch Jetragon?

Around 63 at the lowest. It is level 70, which is the highest boss level in the game and shared by only 4 of the 83 field bosses, and its attack of 140 punishes an underlevelled team immediately.

What is Jetragon weak to?

Ice, and only Ice. It is pure Dragon, so Frostallion and Reindrix both get the bonus. Dragon damage of your own does nothing extra and is the common mistake on this fight.
