Frequently asked questions
How do buildings turn into a team?
Each building group contributes its real work needs. Plantations need Planting, Watering, and Gathering; mining and logging also create Transport demand; oil extraction also adds power and hauling. The optimizer scores one team against the combined workload.
How many Pals can I put in the workforce?
Choose any team size from 1 to 20 Pals. You can also allow several copies of the same species or keep the recommendation species-diverse.
Can I replace one recommended Pal?
Yes. Click any roster card to see replacement Pals with the same assigned work suitability. The planner preserves that role and immediately recalculates the complete team coverage.
Do work auras stack?
No. The optimizer treats each job aura as a single +1 effect on other compatible base workers and does not give the carrier its own bonus.
What does the handbook setting mean?
It is a planning scenario: the selected bonus is applied to every roster member that already has the relevant suitability. Use it to compare an invested end-state with your current base.
What does Exact Structures mode model?
It uses validated structure identities and observed work suitability tags. Each selected quantity contributes one modeled planning unit for each observed work type. That unit is a planning convention, not a game value or throughput measurement.
Is this an exact items-per-hour simulator?
No. Quick Groups and Exact Structures optimize roster coverage or modeled work units, not items per hour. Building layout, recipes, pathing, SAN, food travel, task availability, and world settings still change real throughput.
