8 element parties, with what each one actually produces
Each card lists the party’s aggregated partner-skill effects at maximum condensation rank, summed under the Palworld 1.0 stacking rules. These are not descriptions of what the pals claim to do: they are the output of the same aggregation the Team Builder runs, over the same five pals, so loading a card into the builder reproduces these numbers exactly.

Two different pals with the same effect do stack. Two copies of the same pal usually do not.
This is the most misreported thing about party building, and the confusion comes from one phrase. When a partner skill says an effect does not stack, the flag behind it is per-species: it stops a second copy of the same pal from counting twice. It does not stop a different pal that happens to grant the same effect type from adding on top. Of the 153 partner-skill effect types in the roster, 150 carry that same-species restriction and 3 do not, and neither group is restricted across species.
The largest cross-species stack available in the roster, at max condensation rank. Both pals were put into a two-pal party and the aggregation was run: it summed them, it did not pick the larger one. Neither pal appears on any element template, which is exactly the point: the biggest stack in the game is not in any of them.
Both figures were produced by running the aggregation on a one-pal party and a two-pal party. The second Croajiro Noct added nothing: its row is flagged as not stacking with itself, so only the higher-rank copy counts. A party slot spent on a duplicate is a wasted slot.
These effect types show up in the top lines of more than one element template. If you are choosing a team for one of them, the choice is between the magnitudes below rather than between having the effect and not having it.
| Effect | Teams | Strongest first |
|---|---|---|
| Defense | 8 | Grass 30, Fire 30, Water 30, Electric 30, Ice 30, Ground 30, Dark 30, Dragon 30 |
| Shot Attack | 8 | Ice 40, Dragon 32, Grass 30, Fire 30, Water 30, Electric 30, Ground 30, Dark 30 |
| Movement Speed | 3 | Fire 20, Ice 20, Ground 20 |
| Item Weight Reduction | 2 | Fire 100, Ground 100 |
Computed over each template’s top effect lines at max condensation rank. Magnitudes are comparable within a row and not across rows, because each effect type has its own unit.
Why there are 8 templates and not 9
A template is only generated for an element with at least 3distinct support carriers, meaning pals whose partner skill amplifies that element’s damage, resists it, or exploits enemies weak to it. Below that threshold the generator would be filling slots with attackers and calling it a composition, so it declines instead.
You can still build a party around one of these elements, and the Team Builder will aggregate it correctly. What we will not do is publish a template that pretends the supporting cast exists.
