Cattiva: Location, Breeding and Drops
Walk out of the Plateau of Beginnings and throw a sphere. Cattiva fills the same grass as Lamball across 414 mapped points, and the carry capacity it gives you is why it never leaves the party.

Every Cattiva spawn on the map
All 414 mapped Cattiva points, with the three densest patches pinned. Every one of them sits at levels 1 to 9, so the nearest patch is always the right patch.

4 alternatives checked against the wild catch routeFive cavern presets field Cattiva in their Boss and MidBoss slots, at levels 10 to 13, above the wild cap of 9.
Seven mapped camps run the Grass2 cage preset, and Cattiva is 1 of the 16 Pals that preset can roll at levels 10 to 20. Worth breaking the cage when you pass one, not worth a trip.
Cattiva is 1 of the 10 results in the Windswept Hills nest pool. Reasonable use for eggs you already have, pointless as a way of getting a Pal standing outside your door.
Cattiva sits at the bottom of the rank table, so a very large number of pairs land on it. That is useful for passing passives down and useless as a way of getting your first one.
Straight answers
the questions people actually search forFrequently asked questions
Where do you find Cattiva in Palworld 1.0?
Across the Windswept Hills starting area and the islands around it, on 414 mapped points at levels 1 to 9. The densest single patch is Windswept Island at in-game [102, -436].
Does having two Cattiva double the carry weight bonus?
No. Cat Helper is marked "(Does not stack)" in its description, so the plus 100 applies once no matter how many Cattiva are in your party. The second slot is wasted.
What is the highest level Cattiva you can catch?
Level 9 in the wild, and that is a hard cap. Cavern dungeons field an alpha Cattiva at levels 10 to 13, and a Breeding Farm can take it higher still from high level parents.
What does Cattiva drop?
Red Berries, 1 per catch at 100 percent, and nothing else. If you are farming berries a Berry Plantation is a far better use of your time.
Is Cattiva any good at base?
It is a stopgap. Handiwork, Gathering, Mining and Transporting all sit at level 1, so it covers gaps early and gets replaced by anything specialised later.
