Nitemary Botan: Location and How to Get It

Fly to the Islet of Circular Ruins at [914, -96] and look on the ground. All 13 mapped points sit on one spawner table that has no other Pal on it, so every spawn there is this one.

The one islet Nitemary Botan lives on

Thirteen mapped points, all of them in the same place. The spawner group behind them has a single entry on its table, so there is no competing Pal to roll instead and no reason to look anywhere else on the map.

1Fly to [914, -96]The Islet of Circular Ruins, off the eastern edge of the main island. There is no land route worth taking, so bring a flying mount and expect the trip out to be longer than the catch.Main island, one location
2Bring Fire damageNitemary Botan is pure Grass, so Fire is the only element with a bonus against it. Unlike the base Nitemary it takes nothing extra from Dragon, which is the swap people forget.Grass, weak to Fire only
3Weaken it, then throw an Ultra SphereThe band is levels 50 to 54 and this is a rarity 7 Pal, so anything under an Ultra Sphere is throwing spheres away. Put your team on passive before the last hit so nothing finishes it for you.Rarity 7, levels 50 to 54
4Wait it out rather than moving onIf nothing is there, leave the area and come back. The table these points roll on has one Pal on it, so waiting always returns this Pal, and searching elsewhere returns nothing at all.100 percent of the table

Exactly two pairs, and one of them needs this Pal

Only 2 pairs produce a Nitemary Botan and one is Nitemary Botan with itself. The other is Petallia with Nitemary, and Nitemary is a level 50 Feybreak Pal, so the pair prices out at the same level as the wild catch with a cake and a farm added on top.

No egg contains it

Nitemary Botan appears in zero egg pools across the whole game. The Large Verdant Egg does carry a Feybreak pool with a guaranteed single outcome, but that outcome is Prunelia, not Nitemary Botan.

No boss, no dungeon, no camp, no raid

There are no field bosses, dungeon spawns, camp squads, quest defeats, raid tiers or fishing sources for this Pal. Thirteen wild points and one breeding pair are the entire record, which is why the islet is the answer.

VariantSeparate
Nitemary is a different Paldeck slot

The base Nitemary is Paldeck 148, it is Dark rather than Grass, and its partner skill doubles Pal Souls instead of buffing Grass Defense. Catching one does not fill this slot, and you need one if you take the breeding route here.

Paldeck 148 and 148BDark, not GrassHow to get Nitemary
Thirteen points is not a small chance, it is a small area. The spawner group behind them has one Pal on its table, so the odds at those coordinates are 100 percent and the only variable is how long you wait.
Its drop table carries World Tree Holy Water, a Grass Radiant Gem and the full Ancient Relic ladder, which is unusual for a Pal caught this far from the World Tree.
Soul Binder says it does not stack, and that means a second Nitemary Botan. Other Grass Pals with different party effects still combine with it.
Why bother
Nitemary Botan is a Grass party buff and a soul drop in one. It raises the Defense of every Grass Pal in your party by 15 percent, drops a Medium Pal Soul on every defeat, and works Handiwork at level 4 and Planting at level 3 when you put it on a base instead.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where do you find Nitemary Botan?

The Islet of Circular Ruins at [914, -96], off the eastern edge of the main island. All 13 mapped points in the game are there, at levels 50 to 54.

Is Nitemary Botan rare?

It is restricted rather than rare. Its 13 points all sit on one spawner group whose table holds a single Pal, so every roll at those coordinates is a Nitemary Botan. Most Pals with hundreds of points have worse odds per roll than this.

Which egg hatches into Nitemary Botan?

None. Zero egg pools contain it. The Large Verdant Egg has a Feybreak pool with one outcome in it, and that outcome is Prunelia, not Nitemary Botan.

Can you breed a Nitemary Botan?

Yes, from Petallia and Nitemary, and that is the only cross-species pair in the game. It is not cheaper: Nitemary is itself a level 50 Feybreak Pal, so the pair costs the same level as the catch plus a cake.

What is Nitemary Botan good for?

A Grass party. It adds 15 percent Defense to every Grass Pal you bring, drops a Medium Pal Soul each time it is defeated, and works Handiwork 4 at a base when you are not fighting with it.
