Bristla: Location, Breeding and Drops

Walk the grass at [29, -227] from level 16. Bristla has only two spawner tables and both give it about 1 roll in 10, so there is no better patch to hold out for.

Every Bristla spawn on the map

Two spawner tables and nothing else. One is the open grass at levels 16 to 18, the other is Mountain Stream Grotto at 22 to 25, and they sit within a percentage point of each other on odds.

Mountain Stream Grotto alpha

The grotto fields Bristla in pairs at levels 22 to 25 and as an alpha at 27 to 29. The odds are 10 of 110, effectively identical to the open grass, so the only reason to go underground is if you specifically want a higher level one.

Verdant Egg, and it is thin

One Verdant Egg pool carries Bristla, the Marsh and forest routes, and it holds five outcomes so Bristla is 11.9 percent of them. The Large Verdant Egg pools are worse at 8.6 and 2.9 percent. Walking the grass is better than saving eggs for this one.

81 pairs, and the farm arrives later than the Pal

Celaray with Herbil is the cheapest pair on paper at levels 2 and 1, which is why a level-only comparison rates breeding higher than the catch. The Breeding Farm is a technology level 19 unlock costing 2 Ancient Technology Points, three levels after a wild Bristla is available. Breed for passives, not for speed.

No boss, no raid, no camp, no fishing

Bristla has no field boss, no raid tier, no quest defeat step, no camp squad and no fishing source. Two spawner tables and one egg pool are the entire acquisition picture, which is why the page has no clever alternative to offer.

There is no best patch here and that is the finding. Bristla sits on exactly two spawner tables, at 9.7 percent and 9.1 percent, so a reader hunting for the good spot is hunting for something that does not exist. Walk the grass and be patient.
These are selection weights, not observed catch rates. They rank patches against each other and do not predict how long a hunt takes.
Princess Gaze buffs Grass Pals only, and it does not stack. A second Bristla adds nothing to the 15 percent, so keep one for a Grass team and put the others to work.
Why bother
Bristla is the broadest early base Pal on the island. Planting 2, Handiwork 2, Gathering 2, Medicine Production 2 and Transporting 1 on a rarity 1 body means it covers whichever job is short that week. Princess Gaze raises the Attack of every Grass Pal in the party by 15 percent, which is a team-building skill rather than a personal one, and it does not stack. Every catch drops 1 to 2 Tomato Seeds.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Bristla spawn in Palworld 1.0?

On 319 mapped points on the main island. 259 are open grass around [29, -227] at levels 16 to 18, and 60 are Mountain Stream Grotto at 22 to 25.

Where is the best place to farm Bristla?

There is no better place. Its two spawner tables give it 9.7 percent and 9.1 percent of a roll, so the open grass at [29, -227] wins on level rather than on odds.

What is the lowest level Bristla?

Level 16, on the Crescent Moon Shore grass. Nothing is mapped below that, and the grotto spawns start at 22 with an alpha at 27 to 29.

Should I breed a Bristla instead of catching one?

Only for passives. 81 pairs produce one and the cheapest needs two level 1 and 2 parents, but the Breeding Farm is a technology level 19 unlock, so a wild Bristla at level 16 arrives first.

What is Bristla good for?

Base work, unusually broadly. Planting 2, Handiwork 2, Gathering 2, Medicine Production 2 and Transporting 1 on one rarity 1 Pal. Its party skill adds 15 percent Attack to Grass Pals only.
