Where to find the two parents

Snock is the child here. Penking and Vaelet both live on the main island with alphas of their own, which is why this route arrives 43 levels before the Sunreach meadow does. Both parents also appear in the forest sanctuary, on the same 12 point cluster, if that is nearer to your base.

The route
1Take the Penking alpha at [114, -352]Level 15, which is below its own wild band. Penking is Water and Ice, so Electric handles the Water half and Fire the Ice half. It also has 134 mapped wild points if you would rather catch one.Alpha is Lv 15, wild starts at 20
2Catch a Vaelet from level 2032 mapped points on the main island, twelve of them in the forest sanctuary, and a level 27 alpha at [-19, -265]. It is Grass, so any Fire Pal shortens the fight.32 points, from level 20
3Build a Breeding Farm and bake a CakeOne Cake per egg, and at this stage the cake is the whole cost of the route. Get a Ranch running for milk, eggs and wool before you put the pair in.One Cake per egg
4Put the pair in and check the wider list234 pairs land on Snock, so if Penking and Vaelet are inconvenient there is very likely another combination in your box already. Order and gender do not matter.234 pairs produce one
5Put it on a Power GeneratorGenerating Electricity 4 at rarity 2 is the reason to do any of this. A bred Snock does the same job as the level 65 one and arrives 45 levels earlier.Electricity 4

A guaranteed Snock, on a one entry table

The Sunreach meadow field boss sits on the only spawner group on this page with exactly one Pal on it, so every roll there is a Snock. It is level 65 and it needs Sunreach access, which is 45 levels past the breeding route.

The Sunreach meadow, levels 63 to 65

Snock takes 100 of the 219 weight on the meadow group, tied with Valentail, so the odds up there are close to a coin flip between the two. One meadow, 34 points, and the field boss standing on it.

Electric Egg, two different pools

Snock sits in the Sky Islands Electric Egg pool at a third of 3 results, and in the Yamijima rare route pool at half of 2. Both are regions you reach late, so this is a bonus rather than a plan.

Snock Terra is a different Pal

Paldeck 163B adds Ground to the Electric typing and swaps the Electrify effect for 15 percent less Water damage and immunity to Soak. It lives only in the World Tree, and a Snock is one of its two parents.

Paldeck 163 and 163BElectric and GroundHow to get Snock Terra
Every wild Snock stands in one Sunreach sky island meadow: 34 points on a single spawner group, with the field boss on the same ground. The Sunreach islands sit inside the main island map rather than beside it, so there is no second population to go looking for.
Its boss group is the only single entry spawner table on this page, which means the level 65 alpha is a guaranteed Snock rather than a roll. That is a selection weight, not an observed drop rate.
Charging Shell does not stack, so a second Snock in the party adds no extra Electrify. One in the party and the rest on generators is the whole build.
Why bother
Generating Electricity 4 on a rarity 2 Pal is the whole appeal: it powers a base without costing you a slot you needed for something rare. Charging Shell makes your own attacks inflict Electrify 2 while it is in the party, which is a status the game otherwise gives you no easy access to. It drops Electric Organ and Aquatic Pal Fluids.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What two Pals make Snock?

Penking with Vaelet is the cheapest of 234 pairs, and the Penking alpha is only level 15. Any pair whose combined breeding rank lands on Snock also works, so check what you own first.

Where does Snock spawn in Palworld 1.0?

In one Sunreach sky island meadow at levels 63 to 65, across 34 mapped points, with its field boss in the same meadow at 65. That meadow is the only place it lives.

Should I fight the Snock boss or breed one?

Breed, unless you are already in Sunreach. The boss is a guaranteed catch on a single entry spawner table, which is as clean as a boss gets, but it is level 65 against a level 20 breeding pair.

Is Snock good for electricity?

Yes, and cheaply. Generating Electricity 4 at rarity 2 means a Power Generator can run on a Pal you did not have to fight anything for. Nothing else it does matters much for a base.

What is the difference between Snock and Snock Terra?

Snock Terra is Electric and Ground rather than pure Electric, and its partner skill gives the party 15 percent Water damage reduction and Soak immunity instead of inflicting Electrify. Both work Generating Electricity 4.
