Nothing to pin, and here is why

Dandilord is a scripted main quest encounter with no fixed map location. It has no spawn point, no field boss and no quest waypoint, so there is nothing to pin here.

The route
1Push the main quest to the middle boss stepDandilord is gated by quest progress, not by finding somewhere. The step is Defeat World Tree Middle Boss and it names two Pals, of which Dandilord is the first.Boss 1 of 2 on one step
2Bring Fire and DragonDandilord is Grass and Dark together, so Fire answers the Grass half and Dragon the Dark half. This is where it separates from Silvance, which is pure Grass and only cares about Fire.Grass and Dark, 2 weaknesses
3Bring poison cures, or a Pal that stops the poisonIt drops 4 to 5 Venom Gland every time, which tells you what the fight does to you. Its own partner skill grants Poison immunity once you own one, which does not help on the first attempt.Venom Gland x4 to 5 per kill
4Throw Legendary Spheres before the fight endsPlayer reports put this at around level 78 and alpha flagged, though neither is confirmed. Take it low, put your own Pals on passive, and throw rather than letting the damage race finish it.Reported at Lv 78

Silvance is the second boss on the same quest

One quest step, two boss types. Dandilord is WorldTreeMiddleBoss1 and Silvance is WorldTreeMiddleBoss2. Their partner skills cover the two hazards the World Tree applies to you, toxic gas here and Explosive Spores there, so the pair is worth completing rather than picking one.

It never spawns and it never hatches

Dandilord never spawns wild, with 0 spawn points in every region, and it appears in 0 egg pools of any biome. There is no ground to stand on and no incubator shortcut, which is unusual even for a quest Pal.

BreedingBlocked
One pair, and both parents are Dandilord

The only combination that produces a Dandilord is Dandilord with Dandilord, so a Breeding Farm can copy one you caught on the quest and can never make the first. Plan to catch it during the fight rather than after.

Dandilord+Dandilord
There is no confirmed coordinate for either World Tree middle boss. Any location you read for this fight, including the Rotmist Root, comes from player mapping rather than a fixed position.
Planting 8 is the highest rating for that job in the game, and Dandilord carries four more jobs on top of it. One of these on a farm replaces two or three ordinary workers.
The toxic gas immunity applies to your whole party, not just to Dandilord. That changes how the World Tree feels to move through, and it is the strongest argument for catching this boss rather than only beating it.
Why bother
Dandilord is the strongest planter in the game, at Planting 8, backed by Handiwork 6, Medicine Production 6, Gathering 5 and Transporting 3, which is five jobs on one Pal. Its partner skill, Mist Stalwart, puts Poison 2 on your attacks and nullifies the World Tree toxic gas for you and your party. It drops a Giant Pal Soul, an Ancient Civilization Core and 4 to 5 Venom Gland.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where do you find Dandilord in Palworld 1.0?

Only as a main quest boss on the Defeat World Tree Middle Boss step. There is no spawn point, field boss or coordinate for it anywhere.

Can you catch a wild Dandilord?

No. It is flagged neverWild with zero spawn points in every region, and it appears in zero egg pools, so the quest encounter is the only Dandilord in the game.

What is Dandilord weak to?

Fire and Dragon. It is Grass and Dark together, so Fire covers the Grass half and Dragon the Dark half. It also poisons, which the Venom Gland drop of 4 to 5 hints at.

Do I have to fight Silvance as well?

They are both part of the same quest step, Defeat World Tree Middle Boss, as boss types 1 and 2. Dandilord is the first of the pair, so plan one trip that clears both.

What is Dandilord good for?

Planting 8, the highest Planting rating in the game, plus Handiwork 6, Medicine Production 6, Gathering 5 and Transporting 3. Its partner skill also nullifies the World Tree toxic gas for your whole party.
