Where to find the two parents
Dualith Noct is the child, so the map shows what you have to go and get. Dualith is the gate at level 46, either from the cold shelf north of the Abandoned Ruins or from its own level 55 field boss. Sootseer is the easier half with 649 mapped points of its own. The 3 wild Dualith Noct points sit in the World Tree region and are not on this island.

One field boss at [-1694, -948], fixed at level 70. It is the only Dualith Noct outside the World Tree region and it sits on the opposite corner of the map from its base form. Guaranteed, respawning, and 24 levels above the breeding route.
There are 3 mapped points at the Abandoned Laboratory in the World Tree region, levels 75 to 77. That spawn group has a roster of exactly one, so Dualith Noct holds all 10 of its 10 weight and every roll there is the Pal you came for. Three points and no competition, which is the rarest shape a spawn table takes.
The World Tree pool on a Huge Rocky Egg carries six results and Dualith Noct is 32 percent of them, which is well above an even share. It is the same pool that carries the base Dualith, so one egg can give you either half of the family.

Is Dualith Noct better than Dualith?
Not at a base. The work sheet is identical: Mining 6, Transporting 6, Lumbering 5, Planting 3 and Gathering 3. The difference is the element, Ground and Dark against Ground and Grass, and the drop table.
