How to Get Blazehowl

Take the level 30 field boss at [-256, -131]. On the only wild patch you can reach before the endgame, Blazehowl holds 10 of 312 spawner weight against Blazehowl Noct at 60.

The pinned alpha is the route. The wild list is only 56 points across two patches, and the reachable one gives Blazehowl a smaller share of the roll than its own variant does on the same table.

Blazehowl Noct outnumbers it six to one

The Noct form fills Paldeck 112B, is Fire and Dark rather than pure Fire, and sits on the same volcano table at 60 weight against this one at 10. It also has 530 mapped points to this one 56, so most of what you catch up there is not this Pal.

◆Blazehowl has an overworld alpha, not just a Volcanic Cavern boss: a field boss at level 30 in the Deep Bamboo Thicket, five levels cheaper than anything else on this list.
◆The shares here are spawn weights, not observed catch rates. On the volcano patch Blazehowl holds 10 of 312 weight while Blazehowl Noct holds 60 and Pyrin Noct holds 100, which is why that ground feels empty of this Pal specifically.
◆There are also 21 Blazehowl points in the World Tree region at level 80. They sit on one aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight, so each roll there is 1 in 72 and dozens of other Pals share the same coordinates. It is not a third patch.
Why bother
Hellflame Lion makes Blazehowl a mount that raises the items Grass Pals drop when defeated by 40 percent, which turns a Fire mount into a farming tool for wood, fibre and seeds. On a base it is Kindling 5, the top tier, with Lumbering 3 behind it, and a defeated one drops 3 to 5 Flame Organ plus 10 to 20 Fire Radiant Gem.
