The three densest clusters are all on Feybreak. Their in-game coordinates fall outside the range the main island map prints, so the pins carry the position rather than a number you can type into the compass.

The route
1Start in the Cherry Blossom Cave, not on FeybreakThe cave fields Bushi Noct at levels 46 to 50 in ordinary groups and at 51 to 52 as an alpha. That is the lowest band anywhere and it is indoors, so no night timer applies.20 of 100 group weight, 1 roll in 5
2Bring Water, and Dragon if you have itBushi Noct is Fire and Dark. Water answers the Fire half, Dragon answers the Dark half. Jormuntide and Azurobe are both, which is why they end fights here quickly.Weak to Water and Dragon
3On Sakurajima, come back after darkAll 370 night-only points in the list are the Sakurajima surface bands at levels 47 to 49. In daylight that ground is empty of Bushi Noct, which is why it reads as unspawnable.370 of {points} points are night only
4Move to Feybreak for the high levelsFeybreak carries the level 56 to 67 bands and most of the point count. Odds per encounter are worse, between 1.2 and 4.3 percent depending on the group, but the density makes up for it.Levels 56 to 67

Cherry Blossom Cave

The cave carries the lowest band in the game for this Pal, levels 46 to 50, at 20 of the 100 group weight. It also has an alpha spawn at levels 51 to 52 for a higher starting stat line.

Both Huge Scorching pools that carry it hold only 4 results each, so a quarter of those eggs are a Bushi Noct. It is the alpha entry in both pools, which is the shortest path to a high starting level.

Bushi is a different Pal

Plain Bushi fills Paldeck 85 and this one fills 85B. It is pure Fire, it starts at level 25 rather than 46, it has a level 25 field boss of its own, and its Lumbering is 3 against 5 here.

Paldeck 85 against 85BLv 25 against Lv 46How to get Bushi
The Sakurajima surface bands are night only. All 370 night-only points belong to them, so a daylight sweep of that ground finds nothing and tells you nothing.
Bushi Noct is never the likely roll. Its best surface share is 4.3 percent of a spawner group and its worst is 1.2 percent. Those are selection weights, not observed drop rates, and they are why the cave at 20 percent is worth the trip.
One breeding pair exists besides the self pair: Bushi with Sootseer. Sootseer is itself a level 45 catch, so breeding saves you nothing here.
Why bother
Lumbering level 5 is the reason to keep one, two levels above plain Bushi and behind only eight Pals in the whole game. Bushi Noct also drops 4 to 8 Flame Organ and 2 to 3 Ingot on every catch, plus a Medium Pal Soul at 40 percent. Void Blade adds 30 percent to your melee weapon damage while it is in the party, though only while you are out of combat.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Bushi Noct spawn in Palworld 1.0?

Mostly on Feybreak, where the three densest clusters hold 237, 233 and 227 points at levels 56 to 67. The cheapest encounter is 15 points inside the Cherry Blossom Cave at levels 46 to 50.

What level is Bushi Noct in the wild?

From 46 to 67. The cave is the lowest at 46 to 50, the Sakurajima night bands run 47 to 49, and Feybreak carries everything from 50 up.

Is Bushi Noct night only?

Only on Sakurajima. All 370 night-only points sit there. The Feybreak clusters and the cave have no time restriction at all, so most of its population is available in daylight.

What two Pals make Bushi Noct?

Bushi and Sootseer, and that is the only cross-species pair. Sootseer is a level 45 catch of its own, so this route lets you choose the passives but does not get you one any earlier.

Is Bushi Noct better than Bushi?

For a base, yes. Lumbering goes from 3 to 5 and the rest of the work list is unchanged. The drop table changes too: plain Bushi gives Bone and Ingot, while the Noct form gives 4 to 8 Flame Organ, Ingot, and a Medium Pal Soul at 40 percent.
