How to Breed Dazemu

Breed a Sweepa with a Wispaw, both level 11 catches, rather than waiting for level 31. If you would rather hunt, the desert is cheap and Sakurajima has 2.4 times the odds.

Dazemu is the child here, so the heat is Sweepa, the parent you have to go and beat. The third pin is the one Dazemu patch with genuinely good odds, for anyone who would rather hunt than bake.

Three hundred and twenty five of the 420 points sit in one desert group at levels 31 to 35, where Dazemu takes 80 of 1,410 selection weight. That is 5.67 percent, roughly one spawn in 18, against 18 Pals on the same table. It is the lowest level Dazemu you can walk up to.

Dazemu has no field boss, raid tier, quest step or camp squad. The only guaranteed encounter anywhere is the Cherry Blossom Cave boss room, where it owns 2 of the 31 outcomes on the table, as a level 47 to 49 alpha or a pair at 40 to 45.

◆A 325 point desert group is worse ground than an 80 point Sakurajima one: the desert table is choosing between 18 Pals each time it fills a point, and Sakurajima between 9.
◆Every wild Dazemu is level 31 or above. If you want one earlier the Breeding Farm is the only route, and 602 pairs produce one, so you almost certainly already own two Pals that work.
◆Dazemu gives a base almost nothing. Gathering 2 is its only work suitability and Bone is its only drop, so catch it as a mount and a Paldeck entry rather than as a worker.
Why bother
Sand Sprint is the whole pitch: Dazemu is a ground mount whose Movement Speed rises 50 percent while it is running on sand, which is exactly the terrain its own 325 point desert population lives on. On a base it is thin, Gathering 2 and nothing else, and it drops a single Bone at 100 percent.
