Where Depresso appears after dark

All 453 mapped Depresso points. The clusters sit at very different levels, so the right pin depends on whether you want a level 5 Depresso for a Ranch or a level 24 one for a fight.

Cavern alpha, no field boss

No Depresso field boss exists. It is alpha flagged at levels 10 to 13 in the grass caverns, and those 48 cavern spots are also the only Depresso spawns in the game that are not night restricted.

Depresso is nocturnal: 405 of its 453 overworld points are night only. The 48 that are not are the grass cavern spots, so a daytime Depresso means going underground.
The heatmap hides a 20 level spread. The southern cluster is levels 13 to 24 and the eastern one is 4 to 7, so the same Pal costs a basic sphere in one place and a Mega in another.
Venom Glands come from the Ranch as well as the catch. Caffeine Inoculation is worded as a chance rather than a guarantee, so treat the Ranch as a trickle and the catch as the reliable 2 to 3.
Why bother
Depresso is a Venom Gland source that never runs dry: 2 to 3 per catch at 100 percent, and Caffeine Inoculation makes it produce more on a Ranch. The same skill doubles its own Movement and Work Speed for 30 seconds on a 60 second cooldown, which is unusual on a Pal whose four work suitabilities are all level 1.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Depresso spawn in Palworld 1.0?

Across nine spawner groups on the main island, with the densest ground in southern Palpagos around [-197, -405]. Lower level pockets sit on the Eastern Wild Island and in the Golden Hills.

Does Depresso only spawn at night?

In the open world, yes. 405 of its 453 points are night only. The 48 exceptions are grass cavern spots, so the only daytime Depresso is an underground one.

What level is a wild Depresso?

Anywhere from 4 to 24 depending on the patch. The Golden Hills and eastern spawners run levels 4 to 8, and the southern Palpagos ground runs 13 to 24.

Is Depresso a good Venom Gland farm?

Yes. It gives 2 to 3 Venom Glands at 100 percent per catch, and Caffeine Inoculation adds a chance of more while it is assigned to a Ranch. With 453 spawn points there is no shortage of them.

Is there an Alpha Depresso?

Not on the world map. Depresso has no field boss, but it is alpha flagged at levels 10 to 13 in Hillside Cavern, the three Isolated Island Caverns and Meadow 01.
