Every Helzephyr spawn on the map

Helzephyr is one of the widest spread Pals in the game. The three pins are the densest patches, and the level you meet depends almost entirely on which one you pick.

The route
1Pick your end of the band firstThe wild range runs from 24 to 66. The Crescent Moon Shore patch is the low end and Feybreak is the high end, so the choice of patch is the choice of level.1,123 points, levels 24 to 66
2Sweep the Crescent Moon Shore at [45, -188]In the forest spawner group it shares there, Helzephyr carries a selection weight of 100 out of 402 against four other Pals, so it is the single most likely result of that group.332 of the 1,123 mapped points
3Bring Dragon damage and something to chase withHelzephyr is pure Dark, so Dragon hits hardest. It is a flier and it does not stay still, so a grounded team spends the fight watching it circle.Dark takes extra from Dragon
4Throw Giga Spheres once it is groundedA sphere thrown at a flying Pal is a wasted sphere. Knock it low, wait for it to land, then throw. At the Feybreak end bring Ultra Spheres instead.Do not throw while it is airborne

The 21 World Tree points are a 1 in 72 roll

There are also 21 World Tree points at level 80. They sit on one aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight, so a roll there is 1 in 72 and 71 other Pals carry the same coordinates. Not a second population, and not a place to hunt.

Large Dark Egg

Helzephyr sits in the marsh and forest pool and the Tenraku pool, at roughly one result in seven either way. Fine for eggs you already have and pointless as a plan against 1,123 spawn points.

No field boss and no raid

Helzephyr has no field boss, no raid tier, no quest encounter, and it does not appear in dungeons. Every larger one you meet is a higher level wild spawn, not a different encounter.

One Hunter camp

Hunter camp 02-02 fields a single Helzephyr on its outside patrol, but one bird is not a reason to clear a camp.

Helzephyr is nocturnal, but not exclusively: 598 of its 1,123 mapped spawn points are night-only, which leaves 525 points that appear in daylight too.
Every catch drops 10 to 20 Dark Radiant Gems at 100 percent. If you are pushing a Dark Pal through awakening ranks, this is the farm, not the Pal.
Transporting 4 is its only work stat. Put it on hauling or leave it in the party as a mount, because it does nothing else at a base.
Why bother
Helzephyr is a flying mount whose partner skill, Wings of Death, turns your own attacks Dark and adds 5 percent Attack while you ride it. It is also a Transporting 4 worker, and it drops 10 to 20 Dark Radiant Gems on every catch, which is the material Dark awakenings run on.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Helzephyr spawn in Palworld 1.0?

Across the main island at levels 24 to 66, densest at the Crescent Moon Shore with 332 of its 1,123 mapped points. Feybreak holds the next two patches at 157 and 136 points, at the top of the level band.

Does Helzephyr only spawn at night?

No. It is a nocturnal Pal, but 598 of its 1,123 mapped points carry the night-only flag, so 525 points can appear in daylight. Night makes the hunt faster rather than possible.

How do I get a high level Helzephyr?

Hunt the Feybreak patches rather than the Crescent Moon Shore. The same Pal runs to level 66 there, which is the highest you can reliably find one.

Is there an Alpha or boss Helzephyr?

No. It has no field boss, no raid tier, and it does not appear in dungeons anywhere. The only larger version is a higher level wild one.

Is Helzephyr a good mount?

It is a flying mount that turns your attacks Dark and adds 5 percent Attack while you ride. As a worker it is Transporting 4 and nothing else.
