How to Get Jelliette

Cast into the starting ocean with a beginner rod. Jelliette sits in the common pool at levels 1 to 16. It does have land spawns, but they are on Feybreak at level 50 and above.

Where to cast, and where the land spawns actually are

Fishing pools are named rather than pinned to a coordinate, so no exact pin exists for the pool itself. The shaded water is an approximate marking. The lit points are the mapped land spawns, and they are the reason the rod is still the faster route.

Damp Egg

The Tenraku common route pool holds 2 results and Jelliette is one of them, which is the best passive rate on this page. Open any Damp Egg you find rather than banking it.

It does spawn on land, just not usefully

It does spawn on land, at 195 mapped points: 110 on Feybreak at levels 50 to 58, 78 inside grass dungeons, and 7 on Frostbitten Isle at levels 10 to 20. None of it beats a rod.

Base Fish Pond

A Small shadow in a Fish Pond can surface a Jelliette at levels 11 to 24. The pond is technology 31 though, and its Jelliette weight is 1 against 47 in an ordinary ocean spot, so it arrives 16 levels after the rod and pays out far less.

Pairs that make a Jelliette

Jelliette sits mid-table in the breeding ranks, so a long list of pairs lands on it. Worth it only to carry passives down, because baking a cake takes longer than a handful of casts.

Alpha Jelliette comes out of the same pools at a much lower weight, 2.5 against 47 in an ocean common spot. There is no separate place to go and hunt one.
The claim that Jelliette has no land spawn is wrong, but not in a way that helps: the 195 mapped points are on Feybreak at level 50 and above, inside grass dungeons, or on one small icy island in the far south.
Fishing pools are recorded by name and no coordinates at all, so no map can pin an exact Jelliette fishing spot.
Why bother
Jelliette is a Watering 2 worker, but the partner skill is the reason to keep one in the party: Jelliette Drop raises the items you get from fishing by 55 percent. Keep Jelliette and Jellroy in the same base and Jelliette waters 50 percent faster on top of that.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where do you catch Jelliette in Palworld 1.0?

In ocean fishing spots around the starting archipelago. The tropical island pool runs levels 1 to 10 and the ocean common pools run 9 to 16, both at Easy difficulty.

What fishing rod do I need for Jelliette?

The Beginner Fishing Rod at technology 15, which unlocks alongside Simple Bait. Jelliette is in the common pools, not a rare or Hard one, so a better rod changes nothing.

Does Jelliette spawn on land?

Yes, at 195 mapped points. They are not worth walking to: 110 are on Feybreak at levels 50 to 58, 78 are inside grass dungeons, and 7 are on Frostbitten Isle.

Can Jelliette hatch from an egg?

Yes. A Damp Egg from the Tenraku common routes has 2 possible results and Jelliette is one, so it is a coin flip. A Large Damp Egg from the rare routes gives 8.3 percent.

Is there an Alpha Jelliette?

Yes, out of the same fishing pools at weight 2.5 against the common 47. There is no separate location and no way to raise the odds beyond casting more.
