Run the Volcanic Cavern. Leezpunk Ignis takes 40 of 100 weight on its ordinary cave table, three times its best odds on open ground, where it starts at level 28.

All 95 mapped points sit on the volcano side of the main island, in two open-ground bands and three cave tables. None of them carry a night flag, which is the opposite of the base form.

One cross-species pair produces it, Flambelle with Leezpunk, and the cost model puts that at about level 21 against a wild band of 28. Seven levels is not worth a Cake unless you want a specific level or a passive set, which is the one thing the volcano cannot give you.

The Sanctuary route pool holds five outcomes and this is one of them at 20 percent. The Mount Obsidian common pool is wider at seven outcomes and 15.38 percent. Neither is a plan on its own, but both are better than the Large Scorching Egg, where it drops under 3 percent.

Fire Cult camp 02-02 on the north east tower ground floor fields a single Leezpunk Ignis, with no fixed level. It is something that happens during a tower approach rather than a route.

Leezpunk is a different Pal

The base form fills Paldeck 73, is pure Dark rather than Fire, has no Kindling, and drops a Copper Key on every catch. It also opens seven levels earlier and 675 of its points are night-only. Catching one does not fill this slot, and it is one of the two parents here.

◆The cave beats the ground and it is not close. 40 of 100 weight on the ordinary Volcanic Cavern table against 13.37 percent on the best open-ground spawner means a portal run is worth roughly three surface sweeps, and the cave levels are higher, which is what you want anyway.
◆None of its 95 points carry a night flag. That is worth saying because the base form is nocturnal and 675 of its 908 points are night-only, so advice written for one does not transfer to the other.
◆Every open-ground Leezpunk Ignis point sits on the volcano side of the main island.
Why bother
Leezpunk Ignis is the version that works. It keeps Handiwork 2 from the base form and adds Kindling 2, so it can sit on a furnace instead of only a workbench, and Too Cool to be Seen still turns you and the Pal invisible for 10 seconds. Its Silver Key drop is 2 percent against the base form 1 percent, though it drops no Copper Key at all.
