Where to find the two parents
Mossanda is the child, so the map shows the two alphas you go and beat. The heat is every mapped Foxcicle point, but the pin that matters is its level 15 alpha, which is 15 levels below anything Foxcicle spawns at in the wild.

Both Mountain Stream Grotto layouts field a Mossanda alpha at levels 27 to 29, which is below the level 32 floor of the open world population. If you want to catch rather than breed, the cave is the cheaper door.
All 104 mapped points sit in a single spawner group in one cluster at Verdant Brook, [252, -133], at levels 32 to 36, where Mossanda is 55 of 222 group weight. There is nowhere else on the main island to try.
Mossanda is 1 of 8 outcomes in the Bamboo Groves pool at 19.05 percent. Fine if you are already sitting on Verdant Eggs, and no way to control the level it hatches at.

Two hundred and ninety five pairs work. The best of the cheap ones is Foxcicle with Sweepa, because both parents have guaranteed alphas at levels 15 and 11 and neither needs a spawn roll.
Where does Mossanda spawn in Palworld 1.0?
In one place. All 104 mapped points sit in a single spawner group around Verdant Brook at [252, -133], levels 32 to 36. The 21 World Tree points at level 80 are a shared pool rolling 1 in 72, not a place to hunt.
Can you get Mossanda from a dungeon?
Yes, and it is cheaper than the wild. Both Mountain Stream Grotto layouts field a Mossanda alpha at levels 27 to 29, below the level 32 floor of the open world spawns.
Is there an alpha or field boss Mossanda?
Not on the open map. There is no field boss for Mossanda. The alpha version only appears inside the Mountain Stream Grotto dungeons.
How does the Mossanda grenade launcher work?
Grenadier Panda is an activated skill on a 210 second cooldown that lasts 12 seconds, and it needs the saddle before it does anything. Mossanda Lux carries the identical skill.
