Where to find the two parents
Needoll is the child, so the map shows the trip you actually make. The heat is every mapped Direhowl point, with the level 11 Sweepa alpha pinned beside the Direhowl patch that rolls best.

Thirteen points on the small western islet where Needoll is 50 of 75 selection weight, 66.7 percent, sharing the ground with only Digtoise. The level 40 alpha stands on the same islet, so one flight covers both.
Three hundred and twenty five of the 366 points sit in one desert spawner group where Needoll is 100 of 1,410 weight, 7.1 percent. It looks like the obvious place because it is the biggest, and it is the worst of the three.
One field boss, on Scouring Islet, at level 40. That is 4 levels above the top of the wild band, and it is standing on the same 66.7 percent ground as the islet spawns.
No egg pool contains Needoll, on any egg tier including the Verdant ones. Grass Pals usually have at least one nest pool, so this is worth knowing before you stockpile eggs for it.
