Pupperai has the smallest wild footprint of any early Paldeck entry: one spawner group on the Windswept Island coast, and nothing anywhere else on the map.

Three results share the Windswept Hills Rocky Egg pool, and the Large version has the same three. A third of every Rocky Egg you find is a Pupperai, which is better odds than the wild spawner gives.

Most starter Pals at least turn up alpha-flagged in the grass caverns. Pupperai has zero cavern spawns and zero field bosses, so level 4 really is the ceiling on a caught one.

Where does Pupperai spawn in Palworld 1.0?
On 23 points along the Windswept Island coast, at [197, -481] and [166, -469], at levels 2 to 4. It does not spawn anywhere else on the map.
Why is Pupperai hard to find?
Not because it is rare on its spawner, but because that spawner is tiny. Pupperai is 30 of 211 weight there, roughly one roll in seven, and there are only 23 points in the entire game.
Is there an Alpha Pupperai?
No. Pupperai has no field boss and no cavern version. The highest level you can catch is 4.
Is Pupperai a good way to farm Bone?
No. It gives 1 Bone at 100 percent, but with 23 spawn points at level 4 you will spend longer travelling than harvesting. Bone matters, 20 goes into every resistance ring, so farm it from a Pal with a real population.
Is Pupperai worth using?
In the party, yes: Best Boy adds 10 percent to your melee weapon damage. At a base it is level 1 in Gathering, Lumbering and Transporting, so it covers gaps rather than replacing a specialist.
