How to Breed Pyrin

Put a Broncherry and a Galeclaw in a Breeding Farm. Galeclaw is a level 11 catch and Broncherry has a level 23 field boss, against a wild Pyrin at level 30 on Mount Obsidian.

Where to find the two parents

Pyrin is the child here, so the map shows the ground you actually have to walk. The heat is every mapped Galeclaw point, with the Broncherry field boss pinned beside it.

Volcanic Cavern alpha

The Volcanic Cavern fields Pyrin as an alpha at levels 36 to 38, one at a time. It has no field boss anywhere in the game, so this is the closest thing to a guaranteed encounter.

Pyrin Noct is a different Pal

The Noct form fills Paldeck 93B and is Fire and Dark. It is also far easier to find on the same mountain: 424 mapped points against 76, and up to 57 percent of a spawner group against 16 percent here.

◆The shares quoted here are selection weights, not observed catch rates. They describe how a spawner picks among the Pals sharing it, which is why 76 points can be harder work than the number suggests.
◆Pyrin is one of the Pals that drops Ancient Relics, from Decayed at 30 to 50 a catch down to Glistening at 25 percent. If you are farming relics, a Pyrin route pays for itself twice.
◆There are 21 World Tree points at level 80. They are not a second habitat: all of them sit on one aura table shared by 72 Pals, so a roll there is 1 in 72. Treat it as a curiosity, not a hunting ground.
Why bother
Red Hare turns Pyrin into a Fire mount that changes your own attack type to Fire and adds 5 percent Attack while you ride. On a base it is Kindling 4 with Lumbering 2 behind it. Every catch drops 4 to 5 Flame Organ and 10 to 20 Fire Radiant Gem, which is the awakening material for every Fire Pal you own.

Where does Pyrin spawn in Palworld 1.0?

On Mount Obsidian, across 76 mapped points at levels 30 to 38, in three spawner groups. The densest is 35 points near the Foot of the Volcano, where Pyrin holds 16 percent of the group weight.

Why is Pyrin harder to find than Pyrin Noct?

Because the volcano spawners favour the Noct form. Pyrin appears in 3 groups at 9 to 16 percent weight, while Pyrin Noct appears in 16 groups and reaches 57 percent. On the same ground you will meet roughly five Noct for every Pyrin.

What is Pyrin weak to?

Water, and nothing else. It is a single element Fire Pal, so one Water Pal covers the whole fight. Do not overkill it: a level 30 Pyrin dies quickly to a well levelled Water attacker.

Is Pyrin worth catching?

Yes, for two jobs at once. Kindling 4 runs a furnace line, and Red Hare makes it a Fire mount that raises your own Attack by 5 percent while ridden, so it earns a party slot and a base slot.
