Ragnahawk: Location and How to Get It

Walk the Mount Obsidian foothills around [-508, -439]. Thirteen of the spawn points there belong to a Ragnahawk-only group, so those points cannot roll anything else.

Every Ragnahawk spawn on the volcano

The pins do not all mean the same thing. Most of these points are crowded volcanic groups where Ragnahawk is under 1 in 10, but a small set of them belongs to a spawner group that can only ever produce a Ragnahawk.

The Emberstone Plateau group on Yamijima gives Ragnahawk 40 of 232 selection weight, 17.2 percent, which is more than double any Mount Obsidian group. It is also levels 65 to 67, so it is an endgame stop.

The Tenraku rare pool on the Huge Scorching Egg gives Ragnahawk 25 percent of 4 outcomes, far better than the Mount Obsidian common pool at 14.66 percent of 13. Egg tier and pool location matter more than egg size here.

Fire Cult camps 01-01, 02-01 and 02-02 each field a single Ragnahawk. No level is recorded for any of those camps, so they are something that happens on a raid rather than a route.

◆Thirteen of the 150 mapped points belong to a spawner group with exactly one entry in it, and that entry is Ragnahawk at weight 1 of 1. Every other volcanic group gives it 4.8 to 8.1 percent against Blazehowl Noct and Pyrin Noct. A group with one member has nothing else to roll.
◆Ragnahawk has no field boss anywhere. The alpha version lives inside the Volcanic Cavern at levels 36 to 38, so an open map alpha hunt will not find one.
◆The wild band runs all the way from 32 to 67 because it covers both Mount Obsidian and the Yamijima lava fields. A level 67 Ragnahawk and a level 32 one are the same Pal from very different trips.
Why bother
Ragnahawk is a flying mount that switches your attack type to Fire and adds 5 percent Attack, and it is Transporting 5, which is the highest transport tier most players have access to at that stage. Every catch also drops 5 to 7 Flame Organ at a 100 percent rate.
