Every Relaxaurus spawn on the main island

Every mapped Relaxaurus point, which is not many. The three pins are the only patches large enough to form a hotspot: the rest of the list is single points scattered from the Sakurajima coast to Feybreak.

1Look up how thin the wild list really isThirty seven mapped points across 15 spawner groups, and eleven of those groups hold a single point each. This is not a Pal you walk into, which is why the egg below matters more than the map.37 points, 15 groups
2Walk the bamboo below the volcano firstThe 15 point patch at [-258, -396] runs levels 30 to 35, the lowest band Relaxaurus has. Bring something that can wait: at 20 of 521 group weight you will clear the spawner several times over.Lv 30 to 35, 3.8 percent
3Bring Ice and ElectricRelaxaurus is Dragon and Water, so Ice answers the Dragon half and Electric the Water half. Ice is the better single pick, and a Dragon Pal of your own will take the missile fire badly.Weak to Ice and Electric
4Look for the dedicated Lazydragon spawnersFive points sit in spawner groups where Relaxaurus is the only listed outcome, at levels 40 to 43. They are single points, so no hotspot forms and no pin can be drawn on them, but a spawn there is guaranteed to be the one you want.100 percent of the group, 5 points
5If the walk fails, hatch oneThe Mount Obsidian common Huge Dragon Egg pool holds two outcomes and gives Relaxaurus 94.34 percent of it. That is the single best egg return of any Pal on this stretch of the Paldeck.94.34 percent, 2 results in the pool

The pair list is enormous and its cheapest entry still costs about level 30, the same as the wild floor. Breed one to set its passives and its level, not to reach it sooner.

No boss, no raid, no dungeon spawn

Relaxaurus has no field boss, no raid tier, no quest step, no camp squad, and it does not appear in dungeons anywhere in the game. There is no guaranteed encounter to fall back on, which is unusual for a Pal this large.

Relaxaurus Lux is a different Pal

The Lux form fills Paldeck 94B and is Dragon and Electric. It shares ten spawners with this one at a fifty fifty split, and it is bred from Relaxaurus with a Sparkit, so getting this one first is the shortest path to that one.

Paldeck 94 against 94BShares 10 spawnersHow to get Relaxaurus Lux
The percentages here are selection weights, not observed catch rates. Under 5 percent in a group does not mean 1 catch in 20 attempts, it means the spawner is picking Relaxaurus about one time in twenty when it fills that point.
Eleven of the 15 spawner groups hold exactly one Relaxaurus point. Ten of those are shared with Relaxaurus Lux at an even split, which is why the Feybreak and Sakurajima singles are worth more of your time than their point count suggests.
Relaxaurus drops Ancient Relics alongside its oil, from Decayed at 30 to 50 a catch down to Glistening at 25 percent, and a Ruby at 5 percent. The 21 World Tree points in the raw data are one aura table shared by 72 Pals, a 1 in 72 roll, so do not count them as a population.
Why bother
Hungry Missile is one of the few partner skills that changes how a fight works rather than nudging a number: mount Relaxaurus and you fire a missile launcher for 35 seconds on a 200 second cooldown. On a base it is Watering 3 and Transporting 3 together, and every catch drops 1 to 4 High Quality Pal Oil plus 10 to 20 Dragon Radiant Gem.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Relaxaurus spawn in Palworld 1.0?

In two small clusters at levels 30 to 35, in the bamboo below the volcano at [-258, -396] and at the Foot of the Astral Mountains at [53, 73], plus a scatter of single points on Sakurajima and Feybreak at levels 47 to 68.

Which egg hatches a Relaxaurus?

Huge Dragon Eggs. The Mount Obsidian common pool holds only two outcomes and gives Relaxaurus 94.34 percent of it, which makes it the fastest route in the game to this Pal.

What level is Relaxaurus in the wild?

Levels 30 to 35 in the two main island clusters, then 40 to 43 on the dedicated spawners, and 47 to 68 on the Sakurajima and Feybreak singles. The level 80 World Tree entries are an aura table roll at 1 in 72, not a place to hunt.

Is there an Alpha or boss Relaxaurus?

No. There is no field boss, it does not appear in dungeons, and there is no raid tier for Relaxaurus, so there is no guaranteed encounter and no larger version to hunt.

Is Relaxaurus worth catching?

Yes, for the missile launcher. Hungry Missile gives you 35 seconds of rocket fire while mounted on a 200 second cooldown, and behind that it is a Watering 3 and Transporting 3 base worker.
