Sekhmet: Location, Breeding and Drops

Every mapped Sekhmet, in two very different bands

The two desert pins carry 325 of the 395 points at levels 37 to 42, and they are where a mid-game player should go. The third pin is the Sandstone Gate Islet, where only 70 points sit but Sekhmet takes 29.51 percent of every roll rather than 2.84 percent. Cheap and slow, or late and fast.

1Fly to [341, 340] in the Desiccated DesertThe Desiccated Dunes hold 106 of the 395 points, and the cluster at [512, 367] holds 59 more. Both are the same spawner table, so walking between them is one hunt rather than two.325 of {points} points, levels 37 to 42
2Accept the odds and keep the ground clearingSekhmet is 40 of 1,410 weight on an 18 Pal table, which is the widest genuine spawner roster in the game. Roughly one roll in 35 is a Sekhmet, so kill or capture what does appear to force a reroll.2.84 percent per roll
3Bring Grass damageSekhmet is pure Ground, so Grass is the only element with a bonus. At rarity 5 and level 40 it dies quickly, so a light weapon and a slow Pal beat anything that risks overkilling it.Ground, weak to Grass
4Throw Mega SpheresRarity 5 at level 40 sits comfortably in Mega Sphere range. Weaken it first, and take your Pals off aggressive before the throw so nothing lands the finishing hit.Rarity 5, the lowest in this range
5Come back to the islet later for a fast secondIf you need more than one Sekhmet, the Sandstone Gate Islet at levels 65 to 68 pays 29.51 percent a roll against 2.84 in the desert. Ten times the rate for the price of a lot of levels.18 of 61 weight, 3 Pals on the table

70 points at ten times the odds

The Sandstone Gate Islet band is levels 65 to 68 and only 70 points, but its spawner table has a roster of three. Sekhmet is 18 of the 61 weight, 29.51 percent, against Prixter Lux at 65.57 and Anubis at 4.92. If you are already out there for something else, this is the fastest Sekhmet in the game.

Rocky Eggs from the desert

Sekhmet is in two desert pools, a Large Rocky Egg at 7.6 percent of six results and a Huge Rocky Egg alpha entry at 7.89 percent of seven. Those are separate lotteries and neither is quick, but the Huge Rocky entry is an alpha, so it hatches at a higher starting level than anything in the wild band.

Field bossBlocked
Sekhmet has no field boss

Zero field bosses, zero raid tiers, zero quest steps and zero camp squads. There is no fixed encounter to fall back on, which is unusual for a Pal this recognisable and is why the wild odds matter more here than on most pages.

141 pairs make a Sekhmet

The cheapest pair is Helzephyr with Wumpo Botan at about level 38, one level above the wild band, so breeding buys you nothing on timing. It is worth it only when you want a chosen level or passives, and each egg still costs a cake.

Sekhmet and Tetroise sit on the same 325 desert coordinates at the same 40 weight. The only difference is the level band, 37 to 42 against 48 to 52, so the same sweep can produce either depending on which roll lands.
There are also 21 points in the World Tree region at level 80. They sit on one aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight, so a roll there is 1 in 72 and the same coordinates belong to 71 other Pals. Not a second population.
The 2.84 and 29.51 percent figures are selection weights, not observed drop rates. They describe how the tables are written, not what your session will do.
Why bother
Handiwork 6 is the headline, matching Anubis at the top of the scale on a Pal you can catch 18 levels earlier. Desert Empress then raises Anubis work speed by 20 percent while both are in the same base, and adds 30 percent efficiency when Sekhmet is working a Workbench or Workshop itself. It also drops 10 to 20 Ground Radiant Gem.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Sekhmet spawn in Palworld 1.0?

Mostly in the Desiccated Desert, where 325 of its 395 mapped points sit at levels 37 to 42 around [341, 340] and [512, 367]. The other 70 are out on the Sandstone Gate Islet at levels 65 to 68.

Why is Sekhmet so hard to find in the desert?

It holds 40 of the 1,410 weight on an 18 Pal spawner table, about one roll in 35. That table has the widest roster of any genuine field group in the game, so almost everything else appears first.

What level is Sekhmet in the wild?

From 37 in the Desiccated Desert up to 42, and then 65 to 68 on the Sandstone Gate Islet. There is no field boss, so 37 is the lowest Sekhmet available anywhere.

Does Sekhmet really speed up Anubis?

Yes. Desert Empress raises the work speed of Anubis by 20 percent while both are at the same base, with a further 30 percent efficiency if Sekhmet is itself working a Workbench or Workshop. It does not stack with a second Sekhmet.

Is Sekhmet as good as Anubis for Handiwork?

For Handiwork alone, yes, both are level 6. Anubis adds Mining 6 and Transporting 4 while Sekhmet has Mining 3 and Transporting 2, so Anubis is the better all-rounder and Sekhmet is the cheaper one to get.
