Where to find the two parents

Silvegis is the child here, so the map shows the parents you actually have to catch. Reptyro Cryst carries the heat because it has by far the larger population, and the level 62 alpha is pinned for anyone who would rather fight than breed.

One level 62 alpha on Feybreak

A single alpha at [-985, -1023], south of the Shield Dragon Tunnel travel point. It is a guaranteed Silvegis with no farm and no cake behind it, and it respawns on server restart. It stands at level 62, not 59.

The 21 World Tree points are a 1 in 72 roll

Silvegis only appears in the World Tree, and every one of those 21 points sits on a single aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight. Each roll is 1 in 72, and Astegon, Celesdir and Kingpaca carry the identical coordinates. There is nowhere to stand and wait.

The Silvegis alpha stands at level 62, not the level 59 that circulates for the same coordinate. Bring a team for 62 and treat the lower number as stale.
Silvegis is one of the widest breeding targets in the game at 234 pairs, and several of the cheapest score identically at about level 46. Dualith with Reptyro Cryst is the one this page recommends because Reptyro Cryst has 163 mapped points against Blazamut 16, and a pair is only as easy as its harder half.
Aegis Shield does not stack, so a second Silvegis in the party adds nothing to the 65 percent shield reduction. Take one and build the other slots for damage.
Why bother
Aegis Shield is one of the few partner skills that changes how you take damage rather than how you deal it: while Silvegis is in the party your shield takes 65 percent less damage and starts regenerating 30 percent sooner. It is also a mount, it works Lumbering 6, and it drops 2 to 3 Chromite and 10 to 20 Dragon Radiant Gem.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the best breeding combination for Silvegis?

Dualith with Reptyro Cryst is the pick, because both parents are catchable in the mid 40s and Reptyro Cryst alone has 163 mapped points. 234 pairs produce one in total, so check what you already own first.

Where do you find Silvegis in Palworld 1.0?

As a single alpha at [-985, -1023] on the Feybreak plateau. It has no ordinary wild population: its 21 World Tree points are a shared aura table at 1 in 72 per roll.

What level is the Silvegis alpha?

Level 62. It is commonly listed as 59 for the same encounter at the same coordinate, so prepare for 62 and bring Ice damage.

Can you hatch a Silvegis?

Yes, and the odds are unusually good. Both Yamijima Huge Dragon Egg pools hold just 2 results, giving two thirds on the common route pool and half on the rare one.

What is Silvegis good for?

Survivability. Its partner skill cuts the damage your shield takes by 65 percent and shortens the regeneration delay by 30 percent, which matters more in a raid than any of its work stats. Lumbering 6 is the only base value it brings.
