The Fire variant is Paldeck 23B with its own 54 wild points. It trades Planting and Gathering for Kindling, and catching it does not fill this slot.
One of the eleven Pal Effigy collectibles scattered across the map is named after Tanzee. Collecting them raises capture power at the Statue of Power and has nothing to do with getting this Pal.

Where does Tanzee spawn in Palworld 1.0?
Across 167 mapped points on the main island. Autumn Rocks holds 83 of them, the Sea Breeze Archipelago 39, and the Isle of Silence just 13, all at levels 4 to 12.
Is Tanzee good for a base?
For an early one, yes. It covers Planting, Handiwork, Gathering, Lumbering and Transporting at level 1, so it plugs gaps no specialist Pal will touch. It is outclassed at every single job later.
What is the Tanzee Effigy?
A map collectible named after this Pal, one of eleven Pal Effigy types. Handing them in at a Statue of Power raises your capture power. It has nothing to do with catching a Tanzee.
Is Tanzee Ignis just a red Tanzee?
No. It is a separate Paldeck entry at 23B, it is Fire rather than Grass, and it swaps Planting and Gathering for Kindling. It also has its own 54 wild spawn points.
What does Tanzee drop?
One Mushroom, at 100 percent, and nothing else. That is the entire drop table, which makes Tanzee one of the few Pals genuinely not worth killing for loot.
