The one Tetroise Primo you can walk to

A single level 60 field boss in the Feybreak region. Tetroise Primo has no main island spawns of any kind, and its 40 World Tree points are not marked on this map, so this pin is the whole of the plottable answer. The in-game coordinates out there sit outside the range the main island map prints, so the pin carries the position.

2Bring Dark damageTetroise Primo is pure Neutral, and Dark is the only element with a bonus against Neutral. It is a shelled, slow target, so the fight is about steady damage rather than about dodging.Neutral, weak to Dark
3Throw Giga Spheres and stop your teamRarity 8 at level 60 is at the top of Giga Sphere range. Take it well below half, then put your Pals on passive so nothing finishes it while the sphere is in flight.Rarity 8, fixed at level 60
4If you lose, come straight backField bosses respawn on server restart, or roughly an hour on a solo world. Nothing is consumed by failing, which is the whole reason this beats a level 54 breeding pair that eats a cake per attempt. No cake, no timer, no consumed item
5Put it in the party before a long tripStone-Chaser Archelon raises the durability of every weapon and armour piece you carry by 80 percent while it is in the party. That is a supply saving on a long expedition rather than a combat bonus.80 percent durability, does not stack

Two of three results in one Huge Common Egg pool

The Tenraku rare pool on a Huge Common Egg holds only three results, and two of them are Tetroise Primo: an ordinary entry at 83.33 percent and an alpha entry at 8.33. The third is Celesdir. A separate World Tree pool of seven gives it 32.05 percent alongside the two other Primo variants.

40 points in the World Tree, at 23.98 percent

There are 40 mapped points at levels 76 to 78 in the World Tree region, on a table with a roster of six where Tetroise Primo takes 100 of the 417 weight. Nearly a quarter of every roll, which is excellent, at 16 levels above the boss. Those points are not marked on this map.

Celesdir with Tetroise

The only cross-species pair, at about level 54 because Celesdir is itself a level 54 catch. Six levels under the boss, one cake per egg, and two Pals to find first. Worth it when you want a chosen level or passives, and not otherwise.

Tetroise is a different Pal

Plain Tetroise fills Paldeck 142 and this one fills 142B. It is Ground rather than Neutral, its Mining is 4 rather than 6, and its partner skill raises the Mining level of every other base Pal instead of adding durability. You need one to breed this Pal, and catching it does not fill this slot.

Paldeck 142 and 142BMining 4 against 6How to get Tetroise
This page shows one pin because there is one plottable location. Tetroise Primo has zero main island spawns, zero raid tiers, zero quests and zero camp squads, and its 40 World Tree points are not marked on this map.
The two Tetroise forms are not upgrades of each other. Primo mines better itself at Mining 6, and plain Tetroise raises every other Pal at the base by one Mining level, so a full mining base usually wants the plain form.
The 23.98 and 83.33 percent figures are selection weights and pool chances, not observed rates. Egg pools are separate lotteries and their chances must never be added together.
Why bother
Mining 6 puts Tetroise Primo at the top of the mining scale, two levels above the base Tetroise, and Stone-Chaser Archelon adds 80 percent durability to all your weapons and armour while it is in the party. It drops 1 to 2 Emerald and a Large Pal Soul on every catch, with World Tree Holy Water and a Neutral Radiant Gem at 50 percent each.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where is Tetroise Primo in Palworld 1.0?

A level 60 field boss at [-1082, -1320] in the Feybreak region. Its only wild population is 40 points in the World Tree region at levels 76 to 78, so the boss is the practical answer.

What level should I be for the Tetroise Primo boss?

Around 55 with Giga Spheres. Bring Dark damage, because it is pure Neutral, and expect a slow fight against a shelled target rather than a dangerous one.

What is the fastest way to get a Tetroise Primo?

A Huge Common Egg that rolls the Tenraku rare pool. That pool has three results and two of them are Tetroise Primo, at 83.33 percent for the ordinary entry and 8.33 for the alpha.

What two Pals make Tetroise Primo?

Celesdir and Tetroise, and that is the only cross-species pair. Celesdir is a level 54 catch, so the pair costs about the same as beating the level 60 boss.

Is Tetroise Primo better than Tetroise?

For mining with one Pal, yes, Mining 6 against 4. For a whole base, usually not, because plain Tetroise raises every other Pal by one Mining level and Primo gives weapon durability instead.
