Breed Felbat with Helzephyr, priced at level 24. Their densest clusters are 0.05 km apart, so one forest lap collects both parents. Wild Tropicaw starts at level 63 on the sky islands.

Where to find the two parents

The two parents stand almost on top of each other. Helzephyr carries the heatmap with 1,123 mapped points, the largest of any parent in this stretch of the Paldeck, and the Felbat cluster is pinned beside its biggest one.

The Skyland001 boss spawner carries Tropicaw twice: one alpha at levels 65 to 69 and 2 to 3 ordinary ones at 63 to 64, both at 14.29 percent of a 7-Pal boss table. It is the only alpha Tropicaw in the game, since it has no field boss.

◆Tropicaw has no field boss anywhere. If you want an alpha, the Sunreach Skies cavern boss spawner and the Huge Verdant Egg are the only two sources, and the egg is the better lottery at 50 percent.
◆Both parents are Dark Pals on neighbouring spawn points, so one Dragon damage loadout and one loop covers the pair. That is unusual: most cheap pairs in this range send you to two different climates.
◆Planting 5 with Gathering 5 makes it a plantation Pal, and its Beautiful Flower drop is the kind of thing you otherwise farm by hand.
Why bother
Tropicaw is a farm Pal with a fighting habit: Planting level 5 and Gathering level 5, and a partner skill, Flower Dance, that extends the invincibility window on your dodge rolls and dodge steps by 15 percent. That is a defensive bonus you feel in every boss fight rather than a number on a work bench. It drops Beautiful Flower and Fiber.
