Where to find the two parents
Univolt Cryst is the child, so the map shows what you have to go and get. The heat is Frostplume, the gating parent, with its Sunreach cluster and its Astral Mountains points pinned, and the Univolt bamboo ground marked beside them.

All 69 mapped points sit on one World Tree table where Univolt Cryst takes 60 of 298 selection weight against five other Pals. That is roughly one roll in five, which is excellent, and it is at levels 75 to 77 in a region you reach at the end of the game. Take one if you are already there.

Univolt Cryst has zero field bosses, zero raid tiers, zero quest defeat steps, zero camp squads and zero dungeon profiles. There is no fixed encounter anywhere in the game. The pair and the World Tree ground are the entire list.
Paldeck 54 is Electric with Generating Electricity 3 and no Cooling at all, and it is catchable on the main island from level 14. Filling 54 does not fill 54B, and you need a Univolt anyway because it is one of the two parents here.

Univolt and Frostplume, and that is the only usable pair. The second listed pair is Univolt Cryst with itself, which needs the Pal you are trying to get.

For a cold base, yes. Cooling 6 is among the highest in the game and it comes with Lumbering 3 on the same Pal. As a mount it changes your attacks to Ice and adds 5 percent Attack.
