How to Breed Warsect Terra

Put a Digtoise and a Warsect in a Breeding Farm. Both are level 30s catches on ground where they are the only Pal that spawns, against a Warsect Terra that starts at level 53.

Where to find the two parents

Warsect Terra is the child, so the map shows the two parents and, for comparison, the level 64 field boss out on Feybreak that is the alternative. The heat is every mapped Warsect point, all 10 of them.

Three spawner groups, levels 53 to 64. The two large ones hold 51 of the 58 points and give Warsect Terra 20 of 242 weight, 8.26 percent. The 7 point group at levels 62 to 64 is nearly twice as generous at 14.85 percent, which is the usual pattern: the small patch is the good one.

The Feybreak Cavern fields Warsect Terra as an alpha boss at levels 56 to 58, one per run. Guides putting that alpha at level 50 are eight levels light: the correct range is 56 to 58, which is between the wild band and the level 64 field boss.

Warsect is a different Pal

The base form fills Paldeck 113 and is Grass rather than Ground, with Planting and Lumbering where this one has Mining 5. It is also one of the two parents here, so catching one is a step towards this Pal rather than a substitute for it.

◆Exactly two breeding pairs in the whole game produce a Warsect Terra, and one of them needs a Warsect Terra. Digtoise with Warsect is not the cheapest option, it is the only one, which makes this route unusually easy to plan and impossible to shortcut.
◆Both parents sit on single species spawners, which is rare. Warsect has 10 points where nothing else rolls, and Digtoise has 9 of its own. Neither table is large, so treat them as reliable rather than fast.
◆Digtoise feels harder to find in its 650 point desert cluster than on a 90 point patch elsewhere, because point count alone does not tell you the odds.
Why bother
Warsect Terra carries Mining 5 and Transporting 5 together, which is a rare pairing and turns one Pal into an entire ore line. Its partner skill, Fullmetal Shell, puts a barrier around you after five melee hits land within five seconds, so it rewards a melee build specifically. Every catch drops 3 to 4 Honey.
