How to Get Xenolord

Craft the Xenolord Slab from 4 fragments and offer it at a Summoning Altar for the level 65 fight. The Ultra slab moves the same Pal to level 80, not to a different one.

Where the Xenolord slab comes from

Xenolord is summoned at an altar in your own base, so the map covers the hunt for slabs instead. Enemy camps are on because 7 goal rewards drop a fragment, and dungeon portals because 30 of them are the Feybreak Cavern, which drops a finished slab outright. The two expeditions that pay every time run from your base and have no map position.

Unlike the Bellanoir slabs, both Xenolord tiers summon Xenolord. The Ultra slab crafts from 4 Ultra fragments and raises the fight to level 80, but that fragment has no source anywhere in the game: no loot, no reward, no vendor, no recipe. Level 65 is the tier you can actually reach.

Seven camp goal rewards carry a fragment

The three Sakurajima camps, the Sky Island camp, two Snow camps and the Yamijima seabase camp each drop a Xenolord fragment a third of the time, and so do the Sakurajima02, SkyIsland02 and DarkIsland02 treasure pools. None of it beats an expedition, but you walk past these anyway.

Xenolord appears in exactly one breeding pair and it is the self pair, so a farm can duplicate a Xenolord you already own and can never produce the first one. Every route into this Pal goes through the altar.

Xenolord sits in zero egg pools, including every Huge Dark Egg pool. If you want one in an incubator it has to be a Xenolord you already caught, put on a Breeding Farm with a second Xenolord.

◆Level 65 is the highest entry tier of any summonable Pal in the game. Bellanoir opens at 35 and Bellanoir Libero at 45, so do not treat a Xenolord slab as another altar chore.
◆Guides that send Pals on a Feybreak expedition for fragments are pointing at the wrong thing. The fragment comes from the Snow Hard and Volcano Hard expeditions at 100 percent; Feybreak gives you the finished slab instead, through the Feybreak Cavern loot pool.
◆The slab is consumed at the moment of summoning. A level 65 raid on a timer is where that rule costs the most, so bank fragments for at least two attempts before the first one.
Why bother
Xenolord is a flying mount whose partner skill, Meteor Wings, raises the damage of every weapon-wielding Pal partner skill in your party by 20 percent. That is a party-wide multiplier rather than a personal one, and it does not stack with a second Xenolord. Its only work stat is Gathering 2, and it drops 7 to 15 Meteorite Fragment every time.
