The fortified enemy bases scattered across Palworld's oceans are some of the best loot piles in the game: high-value schematics, gold keys, treasure maps, and rooms full of chests. The catch is that every one of them is garrisoned by dozens of guards, and at the best bases those guards sit around level 75.
RageGamingVideos highlighted a two-part trick in their latest 1.0 tips video that removes the guards from the equation entirely. Open the right chest, take a short flight, and the whole base forgets to spawn its defenders. Add Leezpunk's invisibility on top and you never even get shot at on the way in.
What the island bases are hiding#
The bases in question sit on small islands and platforms across the ocean, and the game marks them for you: they carry the enemy base icon on the world map, no interactive map required. The highest-level versions cluster in the waters around Feybreak, and those are the ones worth planning a route for.

Each base has one special main chest, and it is the whole reason to visit. It drops high-value schematics and treasure maps, and the Feybreak-area bases hand out legendary treasure maps, the top tier of the five rarities in the game data. A single run through one base in the video turned up a Treasure Map, a Heavy Assault Rifle Schematic 3, a Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor Schematic 2, slab fragments for Xenolord and Blazamut Ryu, and over 4,000 gold coins from the side cabinets.

The rest of the base is padding in the best way. Unlocked chests hand out gold-key drops, and the gold-locked chests they open hold high-quality schematics of their own. If you want to know what to do with the maps once you have a stack, our buried treasure guide covers the dig sites, and the schematic drop guide breaks down where every blueprint tier comes from.
Open the main chest, then break line of sight#
Approaching an active enemy base spawns its full garrison, which is why these places feel like a war crime to loot at level 40. The trick is that the spawn check also looks at the main chest. Once that chest has been opened, the game treats the base as cleared and spawns nobody at all on your next visit.
- 1Mark your target bases
They carry the enemy base icon on the map, and the richest ones sit in the waters around Feybreak.
- 2Go straight for the main chest
Ignore every other chest on the first pass. Guards will spawn in around you, but you only need to survive long enough for one interaction.
- 3Open it and fly out
Leave render distance completely. About a minute away is enough.
- 4Come back
The base re-checks whether to spawn defenders, sees an opened main chest, and spawns none.
- 5Loot the whole base
Gold-locked chests, cabinets, and ground pickups are all yours, uncontested.
Leezpunk makes the first pass painless#
The dive to the main chest is the only dangerous moment, and
Leezpunk deletes it. Its partner skill turns both the Pal and you invisible on activation, and invisible means undetectable: you can walk directly past guards, through the middle of the base, and up to the chest.
- Partner skill
- Too Cool to be Seen
- Invisibility at Lv.1
- 10 seconds
- Invisibility at Lv.5
- 20 seconds
- Works on
- Leezpunk and Leezpunk Ignis

Usage is simple: summon the Pal as you glide in, activate the skill the moment you land, and beeline for the main chest. At skill level 5 you get 20 full seconds plus an XL cooldown reduction, which comfortably covers the sprint on every base layout in the video.
Turn it into a route#
Because the trick costs nothing but a minute of flight time, the bases chain beautifully. Sweep the Feybreak waters for legendary treasure maps at endgame, or run the lower-level ocean bases early, where the invisibility matters most because the guards outlevel you.

- Put Leezpunk or Leezpunk Ignis in your party
- Mark the enemy base icons in the Feybreak waters
- Dive in, open the main chest, and fly out of render distance
- Return after a minute and strip every chest in the base
The footage above is from patch 1.0.2, and nothing in the 1.0.3 notes touches base spawn behavior, so the window is wide open. Fill your bags before it closes.

When activated, Leezpunk and the player become invisible, making them undetectable to enemies for 10 seconds.
