Sekhmet won. Solenne took second. Chillet finished third. Palworld's 2026 popularity podium puts a desert empress, a party specialist and one of the game's most recognizable faces side by side. It is a better starting point for a conversation than another argument about which Pal is universally strongest.
Pocketpair released the results on October 20. Below are the top ten from its official results artwork, the separate character podium, and a closer look at what the three winning Pals bring to an actual save. The vote tells us who finished where. The game data helps answer the more useful follow-up: which of these favorites fits the job you need done?

The ranks come from Pocketpair's official results graphic, not a PalMods tier list. The links and chips are there so a name in the table can lead straight to the underlying Pal data.

Sekhmet's win gives base builders a familiar name to discuss#
Sekhmet is a Ground Pal with base Handiwork 6, Mining 3 and Transporting 2 in the PalMods 1.0.3 data snapshot. Its Partner Skill, Desert Empress, links it to
Anubis and base work. That makes it an interesting winner for anyone whose favorite team is the one keeping the production line moving.
It also gives the result a practical follow-up. Before investing in a new worker, compare the whole base arrangement: the job, staffing, existing work bonuses and the production building. A Pal's base work level is one input, not the final throughput number.
Our Sekhmet synthesizer analysis goes into a much more specific use case. That is the sort of connection worth making from a popularity result: take the winner, then ask a concrete question about something it can do.
None of this proves that efficiency is why Sekhmet won. It explains why a player who did not vote for it might still want to look beyond the portrait.
Solenne asks a different question of your party#
Solenne brings Dark and Neutral typing, base Handiwork 8, and nocturnal behavior in the same snapshot. Its party contribution is the especially useful distinction: Untainted Maiden describes an increase to the player's Attack when every Pal in the party is a different species.
That condition matters more than a generic label such as support. A party built around repeated copies of a species and a party built around variety are asking different things of their slots. Check whether Solenne's condition fits the team before assuming its reputation transfers unchanged to your build.
For base work, it is another comparison entirely. Higher base Handiwork and night activity are relevant, but party support and factory staffing are separate jobs. You do not have to turn one copy into the answer to both.
Chillet is still more than the mascot pick#
Chillet reaches third place with Ice and Dragon typing and a mounted Partner Skill, Wriggling Weasel, that changes the player's attack type to Dragon. Its base work values, Gathering 1 and Cooling 2, tell a very different story from the two Pals above it.
That is what makes this podium interesting to compare. You have a base-work connection, a party-composition condition, and a mounted attack conversion. They are three different ways for a Pal to earn a regular place in a save.
| Pal | Base work and role to investigate |
|---|---|
| Sekhmet | Handiwork 6, Mining 3, Transporting 2. Investigate a base arrangement built around its work interactions. |
| Solenne | Handiwork 8, Gathering 4, Transporting 2; nocturnal. Investigate a varied-species party or a separate base-work assignment. |
| Chillet | Gathering 1, Cooling 2. Investigate a mounted setup using Dragon attack conversion. |
Zoe wins the character category, and the timing is interesting#
| Place | Character |
|---|---|
| 1 | Zoe |
| 2 | Auri |
| 3 | Saya |

Pocketpair announced Side by Side alongside the results. Its three silhouettes appear to match that character podium, which makes the timing worth discussing. It does not prove the vote caused the update, or that a particular recruitment or relationship system is on the way.
The poll story is about the results. The update story is about what the studio might build around its cast. Keeping those distinct lets both be more interesting without borrowing facts from each other.
Turn a favorite into a project with a clear job#
- 1Pick the role first
Choose a worker, a mounted setup, a fielded fighter or a collection goal. A podium place does not choose the role for you.
- 2Open the Pal profile
Compare the Partner Skill, work levels and acquisition options with what you already own.
- 3Plan the route
Use the breeding calculator for a breeding project, or the map for a capture route. Check the requirements before committing materials.
- 4Keep the comparison fair
Compare equivalent upgrade levels and record the condition that makes the Pal useful in your setup.
The breeding calculator, Palpedia and interactive map let you turn the table into that next project. You can celebrate the winner and still build around your own favorite. The useful question is what you want that favorite to do.
