Beakon: Location, Breeding and Drops

Ignore the big desert cluster: Beakon is 2.1 percent of that spawner. Walk the 67 point patch below the Frostbound Mountains instead, where it is 15.3 percent at levels 30 to 34.

1Skip the Desiccated DunesThree hundred and twenty five of the 501 mapped points sit in one desert group where Beakon holds 2.1 percent of the spawner weight. It looks like the answer on a heatmap and it is the slowest ground in the game for this Pal.30 of 1,410 group weight
2Walk below the Frostbound Mountains insteadThe 67 point group there runs levels 30 to 34, the lowest band Beakon has, and gives it 20 of 131 spawner weight. Fewer points, seven times the share, and the earliest levels.15.3 percent, Lv 30 to 34

Beakon Cryst is a different Pal

The Cryst form fills Paldeck 96B and is pure Ice. Its only wild population is in the World Tree region at levels 75 to 77, so catching this one is the first step towards that one rather than a substitute for it.

A 325 point desert group is worse ground than a 67 point one: the desert spawner is choosing between far more Pals each time it fills a point.
Beakon drops Ancient Relics on top of its organs, from Decayed at 30 to 50 a catch down to Glistening at 25 percent, plus 10 to 20 Electric Radiant Gem. A Beakon farm doubles as a relic and awakening farm.
Transporting 5 is the top tier and it is rare this early. If your base logistics are the bottleneck rather than your power, that is the reason to make this trip before you need the mount.
Why bother
Thunderous makes Beakon a flying mount that switches your own attacks to Electric for 5 percent more Attack, and adds 5 percent Movement Speed for every other Electric Pal in your party, so an all Electric team turns it into the fastest flyer you own at this stage. On a base it is Transporting 5, the highest tier, with Generating Electricity 4 behind it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Beakon spawn in Palworld 1.0?

Across 501 mapped points, most of them in the Desiccated Desert. The best ground is the 67 point patch below the Frostbound Mountains at levels 30 to 34, where Beakon holds 15.3 percent of the spawner weight.

Why is Beakon so hard to find in the desert?

Because the desert spawner it shares is enormous. Beakon takes 30 of 1,410 selection weight in the group that carries 325 of its points, so roughly one spawn in 47 there is a Beakon.

Which egg hatches a Beakon?

Large and Huge Electric Eggs. The Bamboo Groves pool holds exactly one outcome and it is Beakon, so every Electric Egg from that nest is a guaranteed hatch. The desert pool gives it 31.75 percent.

Where is the Beakon alpha?

There is one field boss, at [95, 23] below the Frostbound Mountains, at level 37. The Cavern of the Dunes also fields Beakon as both a boss and a mid boss alpha at levels 37 to 40.

Is Beakon worth catching?

Yes, for Transporting 5 and a flying mount in the same Pal. Its speed rises 5 percent for every other Electric Pal in your party, so it rewards building an Electric team around it.
