How to Breed Beakon Cryst

Put a Beakon and a Frostplume in a Breeding Farm. Every wild Beakon Cryst is level 75 or higher and lives only in the World Tree region, so breeding beats it by more than thirty levels.

Where to find the two parents

Beakon Cryst is the child, so the map shows the ground you actually have to walk. The heat is every mapped Beakon point, with its level 37 field boss pinned and the one reachable Frostplume patch marked beside it.

The route
1Take the level 37 Beakon boss at [95, 23]One field boss exists and it sits below the Frostbound Mountains. Beakon is pure Electric, so bring Ground. This is the cheap half of the pair and it is guaranteed.Lv 37, 1 field boss
2Then find a Frostplume in the snow cavernsThis is the gate on the whole route. Frostplume has 15 cavern points at levels 39 to 41 at 10 of 80 group weight, and everything else it has sits on the sunreach sky islands at level 65 and above.Lv 39 to 41, 12.5 percent of the pool
3Put the pair in togetherBeakon with Frostplume gives Beakon Cryst every time. Two pairs exist and the other is the self pair, so there is no combination to look up and no rerolling to do.2 pairs, 1 usable
4Hatch it and put it on a coolerCooling 5 is the top tier and it arrives at whatever level you bred for rather than at 75. Transporting 5 comes with it, so a single Pal covers your refrigeration and your hauling.Cooling 5 and Transporting 5

World Tree only, at levels 75 to 77

Beakon Cryst spawns only in the World Tree region: 69 points, all of them clustered around the Abandoned Laboratory. Real, and more than thirty levels past the point where breeding was already done.

The only pool containing Beakon Cryst is the World Tree one, four outcomes at 25 percent each. Good odds, but you have to be standing in the region you were trying to avoid, and the Huge Frozen version drops to under 1 percent across ten outcomes.

Beakon is a different Pal

The base form fills Paldeck 96 and this one fills 96B, so one does not fill the other slot. Beakon is pure Electric with Generating Electricity 4 rather than Cooling 5, and you have to catch one anyway to breed this.

The pins above are the two parents rather than the Pal, because the parents are the ground you actually have to walk. The 69 World Tree points of Beakon Cryst itself are published and the Catch view of the map will draw them.
Frostplume is the whole cost of this route. If you have not been into the Astral Mountains snow caverns yet, do that first: its only other population is on the sunreach sky islands at levels 65 to 68, which is a far later trip.
Plain Beakon also shows 21 World Tree points, and they are not a habitat: they are one aura table shared by 72 Pals, a 1 in 72 roll. Beakon Cryst is the opposite case, a genuine World Tree resident that drops World Tree Holy Water and Water Radiant Gem at 50 percent each.
Why bother
Coldsnap is the Ice mirror of the base form: a flying mount that switches your attacks to Ice for 5 percent more Attack and gains 5 percent Movement Speed for every other Ice Pal in your party. On a base it is the stronger of the two, adding Cooling 5 to the same Transporting 5, and it drops World Tree Holy Water at half the time it is caught.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What two Pals make Beakon Cryst?

Beakon with Frostplume, and that is the only cross-species pair. Beakon has a guaranteed level 37 field boss and Frostplume turns up in the Astral Mountains snow caverns from level 39.

Where does Beakon Cryst spawn in Palworld 1.0?

Only in the World Tree region, across 69 mapped points at levels 75 to 77, clustered around the Abandoned Laboratory. There is nothing to find on the main island.

Which egg hatches a Beakon Cryst?

Large Frozen Eggs from World Tree nests, at 25 percent across four outcomes. Huge Frozen Eggs from the same nests carry it as the alpha entry at under 1 percent, so the Large is the one to open.

Is Beakon Cryst better than Beakon?

On a base, yes. It keeps Transporting 5 and adds Cooling 5, the top tier, where plain Beakon has Generating Electricity 4 instead. As a mount they are identical except for the element they lend you.

What is Beakon Cryst weak to?

Fire, and nothing else. It is single element Ice, so one Fire Pal covers the whole fight. Be careful not to overkill a level 75 wild one if you do go to the World Tree for it.
