Fly to [782, 442] on Flamepulse Islet. Blazamut takes 28.57 percent of the roll on a three Pal spawn table there, at levels 46 to 50, with a level 52 field boss as the backup.

A volcanic islet and one boss on the mainland

All 16 mapped Blazamut share a single islet spawner with Pierdon and Skutlass Ignis, so more than a quarter of what appears there is the Pal you came for. Its level 52 field boss sits on Mount Obsidian, a long way west, and is the guaranteed version of the same fight.

Blazamut Ryu is a raid Pal

Paldeck 137B is Dragon and Fire, cannot be bred, never spawns anywhere, and exists only as a Summoning Altar raid at levels 55 and 80. Catching this Pal does not fill that slot and no amount of levelling turns one into the other.

◆Pierdon shares those exact 16 points at 42.86 percent, a larger share than Blazamut has. If the islet keeps producing Pierdon that is the spawn table behaving normally, and the level 52 boss is there for exactly this reason.
◆There are also 21 World Tree points listed at level 80. They sit on one aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight, so a roll there is 1 in 72 and Wumpo and Kingpaca hold the identical coordinates. Not a population, and not a place to hunt.
◆Its drop table is one of the richest in the game: 10 Coal, 10 Flame Organ, 10 to 20 Fire Radiant Gems and 30 to 50 Decayed Ancient Relics, all at 100 percent. Farming the boss on respawn is a real materials strategy.
Why bother
Blazamut is a mount that gets stronger as a fight goes on: Magma Kaiser gives the Pal fighting beside you 5 percent more Attack and Defense every time you defeat an enemy, for 20 seconds, stacking up to five times. At base it is Mining 7 and Kindling 6, and its drop table pays out 10 Coal, 10 Flame Organ and 10 to 20 Fire Radiant Gems at 100 percent.
