Where to find the two parents

Chillet Ignis is the child, so the map shows the parents. The heat is every mapped Arsox point, with the level 11 Chillet alpha pinned beside it, because that alpha is the cheaper half by 3 levels.

The route
1Beat the level 11 Chillet alpha at [172, -418]Near the Fortress Ruins on the starting plains. It is Ice and Dragon, so bring Fire, and it is the only Chillet in the game below level 32.Lv 11, 1 field boss
2Catch an Arsox in the foothillsArsox has 136 mapped points from level 14, and its best shares are 19.8 percent at [235, -236] and 19.3 percent at [-255, -446]. It is Fire, so an Ice or Water Pal softens it.Lv 14 up, 136 points
3Pen some Chikipi, then build the farmEight Eggs go into every Cake and Chikipi is the only Pal in the game that lays one on a Ranch. Get two or three penned before you take the level 11 Chillet, because both parents here are cheaper than the farm they go into.8 Eggs per Cake
4Put the pair in togetherArsox with Chillet gives Chillet Ignis every time, and it is the only cross-species pair that does. Order and gender do not matter.2 pairs total, 1 cross-species

Sakurajima, but not until level 53

Fifty two of the 67 mapped points are open Sakurajima ground at levels 53 to 56, where Chillet Ignis is 25 of 122 group weight, 20.5 percent. Good odds, 39 levels after breeding was already an option.

Cherry Blossom Cave holds the only low band

The remaining 15 points are Cherry Blossom Cave spawns: a level 51 to 52 alpha, and pairs at levels 40 to 45. That level 40 floor people quote is a cave number, not an open ground one.

Chillet is a different Pal

The base form fills Paldeck 103 and is Ice and Dragon with a level 11 alpha of its own. It is also half of the pair that makes this one, so catching it is a step on the way rather than a substitute.

Paldeck 103 against 103BIce against FireHow to get Chillet
The level 40 Chillet Ignis people talk about is inside the Cherry Blossom Cave. All 15 of the level 40 to 45 points are cave spawns, and open ground on Sakurajima does not start below level 53.
Chillet Ignis has no field boss. The Cherry Blossom Cave alpha at levels 51 to 52 is the closest thing to a fixed encounter it has.
The 21 World Tree points at level 80 make the wild list look longer than it is. They are a shared spawner pool that rolls Chillet Ignis 1 in 72, so they are a lottery rather than a place to hunt.
Why bother
Chillet Ignis is a Kindling 4 worker that also mounts and switches your attack type to Fire for 5 percent more Attack, and it reaches Gathering 3 where the base form only manages 1. Every catch drops 1 to 2 Flame Organ, which is the material most early Fire recipes want.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What two Pals make Chillet Ignis?

Arsox with Chillet, and that is the only cross-species pair. The pair costs level 14, since Chillet has a level 11 alpha and Arsox spawns from level 14.

Where does Chillet Ignis spawn in Palworld 1.0?

On Sakurajima, on 52 open ground points at levels 53 to 56, plus 15 inside the Cherry Blossom Cave at levels 40 to 45. The 21 World Tree points at level 80 are a shared pool rolling 1 in 72, not a habitat.

Can you get a low level Chillet Ignis?

Only by breeding. The lowest wild band is 40 to 45 and it exists only inside a cave, so a Breeding Farm is the sole way to own one before then.

Which egg hatches a Chillet Ignis?

Scorching Eggs from Sakurajima nests. The Huge tier gives it 25 percent of a 4 outcome pool, which beats the Large tier at 17.94 percent of 6.

Is Chillet Ignis better than Chillet?

For a base, yes. It is Kindling 4 and Gathering 3 against Gathering 1 and Cooling 2, and it mounts as a Fire attack type instead of Dragon. It is also weak to Water rather than Fire.
