How to Breed Eidrolon

Breed Blazamut with Knocklem, two main island field bosses at levels 52 and 55. The alternative is a level 69 field boss on the Sunreach sky islands, which is a region unlock away.

Where to find the two parents

Both parents are main island field bosses, at levels 52 and 55, so this pair is two fixed fights rather than two hunts. Blazamut carries the heatmap because it also has a small wild population you can catch six levels earlier.

At [-489, -1521], between the Waterlily Gorge fast travel point and the southern teleporter. It is always there and it respawns on server restart, so a failed attempt costs the flight. The catch is the region: reaching the sky islands is an unlock, not a level, which is why the farm leads this page.

Eidrolon Ignis is a different Pal

The Fire form fills Paldeck 171B, lives in the World Tree at levels 75 to 77, and adds Kindling 6 that this Pal does not have. Catching one does not fill this slot, and an Eidrolon is one of its two parents.

◆Eidrolon does not roam the southern Sunreach islands as a population. There is one field boss and one cavern spawn point there, which is the boss and its arena, not a wandering group.
◆The 21 World Tree points at level 80 are the shared aura table, 1 in 72 per roll, with 71 other Pals on the same coordinates. That is why the honest choice on this page is between a pair and one field boss.
Why bother
Eidrolon is a flying mount whose Attack and Movement Speed rise by 2 percent for every other Dragon or Dark Pal in the party, so it rewards a themed team. At a base it is a Transporting level 6 hauler, the highest transport tier in this part of the Paldeck, and its drop table is a relic farm: 30 to 50 Decayed Ancient Relic and 10 to 20 Dragon Radiant Gem, both at 100 percent.
