Gorirat: Location, Breeding and Drops

Every level 22 Gorirat is inside a Mountain Stream Grotto. The open ground at the Frostbound Mountains does not start until 30, where it takes 22.90 percent of the roll.

The heat is all 127 main island points. Read the two halves separately: the Frostbound Mountains ground runs levels 30 to 34, and everything below 30 is a Mountain Stream Grotto interior sitting under the same pins.

21 further points sit in the World Tree at level 80. They all sit on one aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight, so a roll there is 1 in 72 and 71 other Pals carry the same coordinates. It explains the Ancient Relics in the drop table and it is not a place to hunt.

Gorirat Terra is a different Pal

The Terra form fills Paldeck 74B, is pure Ground, and trades Lumbering 3 for Mining 3. Its partner skill is a 50 percent climbing speed boost rather than an attack buff, and its ground is the desert at level 35. Catching one does not fill this slot.

◆The level range most players quote, 22 upward, is true and misleading. All 60 of its sub-30 points sit inside Mountain Stream Grotto profiles. Open ground begins at 30. If you are hunting the surface at level 25 you are hunting nothing.
◆Its drop table carries a Neutral Radiant Gem at 10 to 20 and every grade of Ancient Relic at high quantity, which are World Tree materials. That is the level 80 aura roll showing through, not what the Frostbound Mountains version pays out.
◆Gorirat and Gorirat Terra have different partner skills: Full-Power Gorilla Mode raises Gorirat's own Attack, and the Terra form gets a climbing speed passive instead. Catch the one whose skill you want.
Why bother
Gorirat is a Lumbering 3 and Transporting 3 worker on one body, which is the combination a wood-hungry base is short of, and it adds Handiwork 2 on top. Full-Power Gorilla Mode raises its own Attack by 75 percent for 30 seconds on a 60 second cooldown, so it is also a straightforward damage partner rather than a support one.
