Katress: Location and How to Get It

Wait for nightfall, then walk the Crescent Moon Shore. Katress fills 675 mapped points from level 20, and 570 of those points only spawn at night.

Every Katress spawn on the map

Every mapped Katress point, with the three densest patches pinned. Most of these points carry a nocturnal-only flag, so the same walk in daylight is a much thinner hunt.

The route

Other guides place an Alpha Katress on the marsh island. Katress has no field boss anywhere. The 18 Sealed Realm entrances each carry a name and a position with no Pal identified, so that claim can be neither confirmed nor ruled out.

The Fire variant is Paldeck 79B and fills its own slot. Catching one does nothing for this entry, and two Katress will never produce one.

◆Two Katress do not make a Katress Ignis. That variant needs a female Katress with a male Wixen, and swapping the genders gives you a Wixen Noct instead.
◆The Advanced Technical Manual drop sits at 1 percent. It is a bonus on a catch you were making anyway, not a farm worth planning.
◆The wild band tops out at level 46. If you want the stats rather than the Paldeck entry, hunt the higher-level spots rather than settling for the first one you meet.
Why bother
Katress is a Handiwork 3 and Medicine Production 3 worker in one slot, which is the combination most early bases are short of. Its partner skill, Mystical Black Magic, gives a 10 percent chance not to consume a thrown Pal Sphere and makes Neutral Pals drop 40 percent more items.
