How to Get Lyleen Noct

Fly to [-628, 304] on Sakurajima and take the level 58 field boss. A level 58 Lyleen stands about 20 metres away, and catching that one does not fill this Paldeck slot.

Two level 58 queens on one rock

Both pins are real field bosses on Sakurajima and both are level 58. The northern one is Lyleen Noct, the southern one is ordinary Lyleen. They are 2,047 world units apart, which is close enough to shoot the wrong one, so read the name plate before you commit spheres.

1Fly to [-628, 304] on SakurajimaThe northern rock field. Sakurajima is a mid-to-late island, so the trip itself is the gate rather than the fight, and you want a flying mount before you try it.Main island, Sakurajima

The World Tree population, at seventeen levels more

There are 63 World Tree points at levels 75 to 80. Forty two of them are one spawner table where Lyleen Noct holds 10.34 percent of the roll, which is a genuine habitat. The other 21 are the aura table shared by 72 Pals, so a roll there is 1 in 72. Good ground once you live in the World Tree, and pointless before that.

Huge Dark Egg, 44.05 percent

The World Tree pool on the Huge Dark Egg holds 11 outcomes and Lyleen Noct is 44.05 percent of it, which is by far the largest share on that egg. A second 1.32 percent slice hatches an alpha instead. You have to be in the World Tree to pick the eggs up, so treat this as a way to stack duplicates rather than a first catch.

Two pairs, and one of them is real

Lyleen with Menasting is the only cross-species recipe that makes a Lyleen Noct, and the other pair is the self pair. Lyleen is the decoy boss standing next to your target, so one trip to Sakurajima can hand you both halves of this route at once.

Lyleen is a different Pal

Paldeck 186 against 186B. Lyleen is Grass where this one is Dark, it has no Medicine Production 7, and the two share the same World Tree spawner table at the identical 40 weight, so in the wild they are equally likely and equally easy to confuse.

Guides written before 1.0 send you to the Iceberg Mineshaft in the snow for this Pal. There is no Lyleen Noct anywhere in the snow: the one field boss is on Sakurajima and everything else is in the World Tree.
The World Tree summary reads 63 points, but 21 of those sit on the aura spawner shared by 72 Pals at equal weight, so a roll there is 1 in 72 and 71 other Pals carry the identical coordinates. The 42 points that matter are the level 75 to 80 table where it holds 10.34 percent.
A Lyleen Noct in the party heals for 85 percent on a five minute timer, so a second one adds nothing to the first. Catch one, then breed only if you want passives.
Why bother
Lyleen Noct is the best emergency button in the game: her partner skill, Goddess of the Tranquil Light, restores 85 percent of the health of the player and every party Pal on a 300 second cooldown. She is also a Medicine Production 7 and Gathering 6 worker, and every one drops 1 to 3 High Quality Recovery Meds and 2 to 3 Beautiful Flower.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where is Lyleen Noct in Palworld 1.0?

One level 58 field boss at [-628, 304] on Sakurajima, near the northern rock field. Everything else is a World Tree spawn at levels 75 to 80.

Why are there two Lyleen bosses next to each other?

Because there are two Pals. Ordinary Lyleen holds a level 58 field boss 2,047 world units to the southwest at [-632, 302]. It is Grass, it is Paldeck 186, and catching it leaves 186B empty.

What beats Lyleen Noct?

Dragon damage. It is pure Dark, so Dragon is the only element with a bonus, and it heals itself, which punishes a slow damage type more than it punishes a low level.

Can you breed a Lyleen Noct?

Yes. Lyleen with Menasting is the only cross-species pair in the game that produces one, and Lyleen is the other boss standing beside it on Sakurajima.

Is Lyleen Noct worth the trip?

Her partner skill restores 85 percent of the health of you and your whole party on a 300 second cooldown, and she works at Medicine Production 7. There is no cheaper source of either.
