Mammorest Cryst is a different Pal

The Ice form fills Paldeck 87B, is Ice and Ground rather than Grass and Ground, has no field boss at all, and drops Planting entirely in exchange for Cooling 5. Catching one does not fill this slot.

◆The densest patch is not the best patch. The 103 point cluster near Windswept Island gives Mammorest 0.7 to 1.5 percent of the group weight, while an 18 point group elsewhere gives it 15.8 percent. Those are selection weights, not observed drop rates.
◆The field boss is the only guaranteed Mammorest in the game. It respawns on server restart, or about an hour on a solo world, and nothing is consumed by losing.
◆Its drop table includes the World Tree relic set, but there is no tree population to farm it from: those 21 points are a shared aura table that rolls Mammorest 1 in 72. Farm relics from a source that has real ground.
Why bother
Gaia Crusher is a mining multiplier, not a combat skill: 500 percent mining and 220 percent logging while you ride it. Mammorest also carries Planting, Lumbering and Mining at level 4 each, and it drops 5 to 10 High Quality Pal Oil along with 10 to 20 Grass Radiant Gem, which is the awakening material for every Grass Pal you own.
