Mammorest Cryst: Location and How to Get It

Walk the three snow bands at levels 36 to 42. There are 90 mapped points, and the only breeding pair needs a level 45 Wumpo, so catching one is the cheaper route.

Ninety points across three snow spawner groups. The densest cluster is also the one with the best odds per encounter, which is not how these usually line up.

Two pairs exist and one of them is the self pair, so Mammorest with Wumpo is the whole breeding story. Wumpo is a level 45 catch, which is nine levels above the wild band, so this route is for choosing passives rather than for saving time.

The base form fills Paldeck 87 and this one fills 87B. It is Grass and Ground, it starts at level 26 rather than 36, it has 489 points against 90 here, and it has a field boss you can fight on demand.

◆This is the rare variant that is easier to catch than to breed. The wild band starts at level 36 and the only usable pair needs a level 45 Wumpo, so the map is the answer rather than the Breeding Farm.
◆Only one spawner group in the game puts both Mammorest forms on the same ground. There the base form carries 25 weight against 15 for the Cryst, and it holds 14 of these 90 points.
◆The 21 World Tree points it appears to share with its base form are one aura spawner with a 72 Pal roster, so Mammorest Cryst comes up 1 in 72 there. Not a population, and nothing worth the trip.
Why bother
Ice Crusher is the same mount skill the base form has, 500 percent mining and 220 percent logging while you ride it, but the work list underneath is better for a base: Lumbering 5 rather than 4, Mining 4, and Cooling 5 where Mammorest has no Cooling at all. That makes it the one Pal that both mines for you and runs a cooler.
