How to Breed Shroomer Noct

Put a Bushi and a Mammorest in a Breeding Farm. Both parents have their own field bosses, at levels 25 and 38, against a wild Shroomer Noct at 47 on Sakurajima.

Where to find the two parents

Shroomer Noct is the child, so the map shows the parents. Both of them have a fixed field boss, which is the whole reason this pair is worth the cake. The third pin is the Feybreak population, which is where most of this Pal actually lives and where you should not go first.

Two populations, sixteen levels apart

204 mapped points, and 129 of them are Feybreak ice fields at levels 63 to 66 where Shroomer Noct holds 11.86 to 12.88 percent. Only 59 are the Sakurajima band at levels 47 to 49, at 10.10 percent. The big number belongs to the endgame island.

Cherry Blossom Cave alpha

The Cherry Blossom Cave runs Shroomer Noct as an alpha boss at levels 51 to 52 and as a group of two or three at 40 to 45. A Yakushima cave carries it at 39 to 41, the earliest spawn it has anywhere. There is no field boss at all.

Shroomer is a different Pal

The base form fills Paldeck 118 and is pure Grass, with Farming 3 and mushroom production on a Ranch where this one has a base sanity aura and Venom Glands. They share the Sakurajima ground, so you will see both on the same trip.

◆The cheapest pair by raw level is Helzephyr with Mimog at 24, and it is a trap for the reason Mimog is always a trap: it holds under 2 percent of the roll in all 93 of its main island groups, so its level 10 band does not describe how long you will look. Bushi with Mammorest costs two levels more and both parents have field bosses.
◆The 204 point total hides a sixteen level split. If a guide lists this Pal in both the Mushroom Wetlands and the Feybreak ice fields without saying which is which, that is the split it is describing, and only the Sakurajima half is reachable at level 47.
◆The Feybreak groups are slightly better per roll than Sakurajima, 11.86 to 12.88 percent against 10.10, which is nowhere near enough to justify sixteen extra levels.
Why bother
Shroomer Noct is the base sanity Pal. Roiling Spores slows how fast every Pal working at that base loses sanity by 10 percent, which is a problem most players only notice once their workers start refusing to work. It also brings Handiwork 3, Planting 3 and Gathering 3, can be ridden, and drops 4 to 8 Venom Gland a catch.
