How to Breed Smokie Cryst

Put a Munchill and a Smokie in a Breeding Farm. Munchill is a level 10 catch and a Smokie can itself be bred from Katress and Vaelet, so the whole chain runs from your base.

Where to find the two parents

Smokie Cryst is the child, so the map draws its parents. Smokie carries the heat because it is the half that takes work, and the Munchill patch is pinned beside it along with the one islet where the child spawns on its own.

The base Smokie is Paldeck 149, pure Dark, and its partner skill finds Chromite instead of raising Cooling. It has 1699 mapped points to this one 8. Catching a Smokie does not fill this slot, and you need one to breed this Pal.

◆The Cooling aura applies to other Pals at the base, not to Smokie Cryst itself, and it does not stack with a second copy. One at a cold base is the whole build.
◆This is a two cake route. The first pairing makes the Smokie, the second makes the Smokie Cryst, and skipping the first means flying to Feybreak for a parent at level 50.
◆It drops an Ice Organ and a Medium Pal Soul on every defeat plus the full Ancient Relic ladder, which is a heavy drop table for a Pal with 8 spawn points.
Why bother
Smokie Cryst is a base Pal that upgrades other base Pals. Its partner skill adds a full Cooling level to every other Pal working that base, which turns a whole shift of Cooling 1 workers into Cooling 2 without replacing any of them. It also drops 1 to 2 Ice Organs on every defeat.
