How to Breed Suzaku

Put a Mammorest and a Ragnahawk in a Breeding Farm. Both are ordinary catches around level 32, against a level 45 field boss that is the only Suzaku you can walk up to.

Where to find the two parents

Suzaku is the child, so the map shows what you go and get. The heat is every mapped Ragnahawk point, with the densest Mammorest cluster beside it and the level 45 Suzaku field boss pinned out in the desert for comparison.

The route
1Catch a Ragnahawk on the volcanoIt starts at level 32 across 150 mapped points. The 13 point patch at [-571, -488] draws on a spawner whose roster is Ragnahawk and nothing else, so it is the closest thing to a guaranteed species in the wild.100 percent of that spawner
2Catch a Mammorest in the bambooThe cheaper half at level 26, on 489 mapped points. It is pure Grass, so Fire answers it, and its own field boss at [189, -478] is a level 38 fallback if the wild ones will not sit still.Lv 26 wild, Lv 38 boss
3Put the pair in togetherMammorest with Ragnahawk gives Suzaku every time. 197 pairs land on this Pal in total, and this is the cheapest whose parents are both ordinary open-ground catches.197 pairs, this one costs Lv 32
4Hatch it and fill the party with FireWings of Flame adds 5 percent Movement Speed for every other Fire Pal you carry, so the flyer you just hatched gets faster the more Fire you run beside it.5 percent per other Fire Pal

The level 45 alpha at [326, 483]

One fixed encounter in the Desiccated Dunes, north of the Sandstone Plateau. It is the only Suzaku you can fight rather than hatch, it respawns on server restart, and it is worth a Giga or Legendary Sphere because a bounce off a level 45 alpha wastes the trip.

There are no wild Suzaku in the desert

There is no ordinary Suzaku near the boss at around level 40. Its only spawn points are 21 points in the World Tree at level 80, and all 21 sit on one aura table shared by 72 Pals, so a roll there is 1 in 72.

Suzaku Aqua is a different Pal

The Aqua form fills Paldeck 122B and is pure Water rather than pure Fire, so it takes the opposite side of every matchup and does not fill this slot. This Pal is one of its parents.

Paldeck 122 against 122BWater against FireHow to get Suzaku Aqua
There is no open-ground Suzaku spawn at all. One field boss, one Fire Cult camp squad with no level attached, and 21 World Tree points on an aura table shared by 72 Pals at 1 in 72 per roll. Anything describing a wild desert population is describing the boss.
The cheapest pair on paper is Broncherry with Grizzbolt at level 30, and it is a trap. Grizzbolt has no field boss outside the Forest Sanctuary and no wild population outside the World Tree, so that pair costs a wanted level or an endgame trip. Mammorest with Ragnahawk costs two levels more and neither parent asks for either.
The Huge Scorching Egg from the Desiccated Desert is the single best-odds route at 76.92 percent, better than any hunt. If you are already farming that region, open the eggs before you build the farm.
Why bother
Suzaku is a flying mount whose Movement Speed rises 5 percent for every other Fire Pal in your party, so an all Fire team turns it into one of the faster flyers available at that stage. On a base it brings Kindling 5, and every catch pays 5 to 10 Flame Organ plus 10 to 20 Fire Radiant Gem for awakening.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does Suzaku spawn in Palworld 1.0?

It does not, on open ground. There is one level 45 field boss at [326, 483] in the Desiccated Dunes, one Fire Cult camp squad, and 21 World Tree points at level 80 that sit on a table shared by 72 Pals at 1 in 72 per roll.

What two Pals make Suzaku?

197 pairs produce one. The cheapest with two ordinary parents is Mammorest with Ragnahawk, at levels 26 and 32, which is 13 levels below the field boss.

What sphere should I bring to the Suzaku boss?

A Giga Sphere at minimum, and a Legendary Sphere if you have them, because a bounce off a level 45 alpha costs the whole trip. Bring Water damage and expect slow projectiles you can walk out of.

Which egg hatches a Suzaku?

The Huge Scorching Egg from the Desiccated Desert. That pool holds three outcomes and gives Suzaku 76.92 percent, with another 11.54 percent on the alpha roll, so it beats every other route on odds.

Is Suzaku a good flying mount?

Yes, and it scales with your party. Wings of Flame adds 5 percent Movement Speed for every other Fire Pal you carry, so it is fastest on an all Fire team. It also brings Kindling 5 to a base.
