How to Breed Suzaku Aqua

One pair in the game makes it: Jormuntide with Suzaku, both main island field bosses at levels 55 and 45. Every wild one is level 68 on the Sunreach sky islands.

Where to find the two parents

Suzaku Aqua is the child of the only cross-species pair that produces it, so the map pins what you have to go and beat: a level 45 Suzaku out past the Desiccated Dunes and a level 55 Jormuntide on the coast. Neither parent can carry a heatmap, because outside these two arenas both of them exist only on the World Tree aura table at 1 in 72.

All 50 wild points are one spawner group on the Sunreach sky islands, and Suzaku Aqua takes 70 of its 375 selection weight. At 18.67 percent it is the second most likely Pal on that meadow, behind Pierdon Cryst. The catch is that the meadow runs levels 68 to 69.

Suzaku is a different Pal, and it is a parent

Suzaku fills Paldeck 122 and is pure Fire with Kindling 5. Suzaku Aqua fills 122B and is pure Water with Watering 6. Catching one does not fill the other slot, and here the base form is literally half of the recipe for the variant.

◆The 21 further points in the World Tree at level 80 are not a second population. They are the aura table, 72 Pals at equal weight over 21 shared coordinates, so any one of them is 1 in 72 of a single roll. Both parents sit on that same table.
◆The shares quoted here are selection weights, not observed catch rates. They are why the sky island meadow at 50 points is better ground than a bigger patch would be: only 7 Pals compete on that table.
◆Losing either boss fight costs nothing but the flight back, because both bosses respawn on server restart. Overkill is the expensive mistake: a boss you kill is a boss you wait for.
Why bother
Watering 6 is the headline: only 5 Pals in the game reach Watering 6 or better, and this is one of them. Wings of Water also makes it a flying mount whose Movement Speed climbs 5 percent for every other Water Pal in your party, so a Water team turns it into a fast one. Every catch drops 5 Aquatic Pal Fluids at 100 percent.
