How to Get Wixen

Fight the level 28 field boss at [161, -223], south east of Gobfin turf. Its wild list is 37 points and only 6 of them are below level 30, so the arena is the dependable Wixen.

The one Wixen that is always there

The heat is the whole wild list, all 37 points of it, and the pin that matters is the field boss. Three small groups carry everything else, and only one of them is under level 30.

Wixen Noct is a different Pal

The Noct form fills Paldeck 78B, is Fire and Dark rather than pure Fire, and carries Kindling 4 and Handiwork 4 against this one at 3 and 3. Its ground is Sakurajima at level 46 and it has no field boss at all. Catching one does not fill this slot, and this Pal is one of its two parents.

◆The Volcanic Cavern alpha sits at levels 36 to 38, on a nine Pal boss table at 11.11 percent.
◆The wild list is the smallest in this stretch of the Paldeck at 37 points, and its shape is odd: the best odds it has, 35.71 percent, sit on the group with the fewest points. Nothing about the ground rewards a sweep, which is why the fixed encounter wins.
◆One catch in 100 drops an Advanced Technical Manual. That is worth knowing before you decide the boss is a one time visit, because the wild points at levels 32 to 36 are the only repeatable Wixen source outside an egg.
Why bother
Wixen is a Kindling 3 and Handiwork 3 worker, which covers a furnace and a workbench with one body at a point in the game where most Pals do one job. Lord Fox converts your own attacks to Fire and raises your Attack by 30 percent for 30 seconds, and 1 catch in 100 drops an Advanced Technical Manual, which is a technology point out of a fight rather than out of a chest.
