ABOUT THIS MOD

Progressive Base Radius

Let your base grow with your Palbox.

At level 1, every base keeps Palworld's vanilla 35-meter radius. Each additional Palbox level adds 1 meter by default, reaching 69 meters at level 35. The blue Palbox boundary grows with the real gameplay area, and existing bases update automatically after loading or leveling up.

Default progression

Palbox levelRadiusDiameter
---------
135 m70 m
1044 m88 m
2054 m108 m
3064 m128 m
3569 m138 m

Features

  • Vanilla base size at level 1
  • Smooth +1 meter radius growth per Palbox level
  • 70-meter configurable safety cap
  • Per-base scaling, including servers with guilds at different levels
  • Matching blue Palbox boundary ring
  • Existing-world and live level-up support
  • No save edits, pak replacements, or cooked assets

Configuration

Close the game or server and edit Scripts/config.lua:

  • vanilla_radius_cm = 3500.0 sets the level-1 radius.
  • radius_growth_per_level_cm = 100.0 sets growth after level 1.
  • maximum_radius_cm = 7000.0 caps the curve.
  • reapply_interval_ms = 5000 controls level-up detection.
  • verbose_logging = false enables detailed UE4SS logging.

Multiplayer

Install the mod on the Windows dedicated server and every participating client. The server applies the authoritative gameplay radius; clients apply the matching local boundary ring.

Compatibility

Do not combine this mod with another mod that changes PalBaseCampModel.AreaRange, PalBaseCampEnemyObserver.CampAreaRange, or the BP_BuildObject_PalBoxV2_C AreaRange components.

Very large bases increase worker travel, navigation, building, and server workload. Raise the 70-meter cap only after testing your base layout and server performance.

Uninstallation

Uninstall through PalMods, or remove the ProgressiveBaseRadius UE4SS mod folder and its mods.txt entry, then restart. The mod does not persist custom radius data in the save; vanilla behavior returns after removal.

INSTALLATION

02Drop ProgressiveBaseRadius_v1.0.0.zip into Palworld/Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/mod.
