Bellanoir Glass-Cannon Rotation

Updated

Cycle two Bellanoir Liberos through a Poison core for relentless high-risk pressure.

The most aggressive status-party variant in the Reddit discussion. Two Bellanoir Liberos provide separate active-skill bars, Orserk adds bullet-hit pressure, and Prixter plus Bakemi turn Poison into both offense and mitigation. The duplicate Bellanoir slots are deliberate: rotate between them instead of waiting for one full cooldown set.

The lineup

5 core members

Every slot has a job. The cards below show the exact synergy, its rank range, who it affects, and a mapped route to recruiting that pal.

Primary burst carry01
Bellanoir Libero Core attacker

Takes the first active window and unloads a high-damage skill set.

First Bellanoir Libero supplies the opening burst rotation.
Recruitment route

Summon it at a Summoning Altar. Bellanoir Libero is a raid boss: build a Summoning Altar, use its slab, and beat the summon. Mapped tiers run at level 45 and level 80.

Second burst carry02
Bellanoir Libero Core attacker

Enters when the first copy’s strongest skills are cooling down.

Second copy is intentional and supplies an independent active-skill bar.

TipThe short version

Apply Poison first so Prixter and Bakemi are online, then unload the first Bellanoir Libero’s strongest skills. Swap immediately to the second copy for another full burst bar, using Orserk and trainer fire only while both Bellanoirs recover. Reapply Poison before beginning the next two-Pal burst cycle.

Passives to implant

3 core · 4 total

A pal-damage build, so the Dark element passives outrank the trainer implants. Every pal in the party except Prixter is pure Dark, and Prixter is half Dark.

Lord of the Underworld

All five slots
Rank 3 · No roll pool

30% increase in Dark attack damage.

Lord of the Underworld, worth 30% more Dark damage to the pal carrying it. Nightmare Bloom is a Dark skill, so this is a direct multiplier on the nuke.

How to get it

Rolls on wild Dark pals and breeds down normally. Catch Dark pals until one carries it, then breed it across or move it with an implant.

Vanguard

All five slots
Rank 3 · Standard pool

10% increase in Player Attack.

Bakemi attack cut fires on your hits and Prixter 65% applies to your damage too, so you are not a passenger even though the pals do the killing.

50% player attack across five carriers

How to get it

Bought once from a bounty officer for bounty tokens, then applied to any pal for gold.

Serenity

All five slots
Rank 3 · Standard pool

Active skill cooldown reduction 30% Attack +10%

Serenity, worth 30% active skill cooldown reduction and 10% attack on the carrier. In a party whose entire identity is firing a 30-second nuke as often as possible, cooldown reduction on the nuke carriers is the point.

How to get it

Rolls on wild catches and breeds normally.

Diamond Body

Nice to have
Rank 4 · Standard pool

Defense +30% Immune to Flinch Immune to Knockback

Defense +30% plus flinch and knockback immunity. A Bellanoir Libero that gets staggered mid-cast has wasted a 30-second cooldown.

Rolls on wild catches and breeds normally.

Gear and loadout

11 picks

Your weapon has two jobs here and neither is killing: applying Poison so Prixter and Bakemi switch on, and feeding Orserk stacks onto whichever Bellanoir is out.

Poison appliers

No partner skill in Palworld 1.0 applies Poison passively, and two of your five slots do nothing without it. This is the gap the build has to close before anything else works.

  • Native applier
Poison Blast on Prixter (Dark, 30 power)

Prixter learns it at level 1. Keeping it on the bar is the free answer, at the cost of fielding Prixter to cast it.

  • Skill fruit

Feed this to a Bellanoir Libero so the pal you are already fielding applies its own Poison. Skill fruits work on any pal regardless of element.

Use on a Pal to teach Poison Blast.

  • Area applier

Poison Shower at 160 power scatters poison in all directions, putting Prixter bonus onto a whole group at once.

Stat point priority

Highest priority first

A pal-damage ordering. Your points do not touch the Bellanoirs, so spend them on surviving long enough to keep the rotation running.

  1. 1HealthFirst. Three of five slots are offence and none protects you, so the health bar is the entire safety margin.
  2. 2AttackSecond. It drives Bakemi trigger and Prixter amplified damage on your own hits.
  3. 3StaminaThird, for sustained dodging.
  4. 4Weight and work speedLast. Neither does anything in a boss fight.
// 06

How to play it

6 steps

Two copies of the same nuke on a 30-second cooldown each. Played correctly that is one Nightmare Bloom every fifteen seconds, and the whole build is about protecting that cadence.

  1. 1Solve Poison before the fight

Prixter 65% and Bakemi 80% attack cut are both dead until Poison is on the target, and nothing in the party applies it passively. Either keep Poison Blast on Prixter bar or feed a Bellanoir the Dark skill fruit version so the pal you are fielding applies it itself.

  2. 2Fire the first Nightmare Bloom, then swap

Each Bellanoir Libero has its own 30-second cooldown. Cast with the first, swap to the second and cast again, and by the time the second is spent the first is nearly back. That alternation halves the effective cooldown to about fifteen seconds.

  3. 3Keep shooting between casts

Your bullets stack Orserk onto whichever Bellanoir is out, up to 150% Attack and Defense at full condensation, and they trigger Bakemi attack cut on the poisoned target. The gap between nukes is where most of your contribution happens.

  4. 4Reapply Poison every 17 seconds

Poison runs 17 seconds, which is close enough to the fifteen-second nuke cadence that one reapplication per rotation keeps it permanent.

  5. 5Understand what the multiplier means

Nightmare Bloom carries a damage multiplier that runs 1.1x at rank 1 and 2.5x fully condensed. It lives on the activated skill rather than an effect curve, so it never appears in the scaling table below, and condensing both Bellanoirs more than doubles the nuke.

  6. 6Accept the glass cannon trade

Three slots are damage, two are status payoff and none is defensive. Bakemi 80% enemy attack reduction is the only mitigation in the party, and it only applies while Poison is up and while you keep hitting.

What this build turns down

4 considered

The duplicate slot is the thing people question, and the answer is a cooldown calculation rather than a preference.

Replacing the second Bellanoir Libero

The case for it
Two copies of the same species is normally a mistake, and it rules out Solenne 80% attack bonus, which requires every party species to be different.

Activated partner skills are per-pal, so two copies means two independent 30-second cooldowns and a nuke roughly every fifteen seconds instead of every thirty. That doubling is the build. Solenne would have been buffing you rather than the pals doing the damage, so it was never the right slot here anyway.

Running Lapure instead of doubling up

The case for it
Lapure cuts partner skill cooldowns by up to 50%, so one Bellanoir at 15 seconds should equal two Bellanoirs at 30.

It equals it, and combining both is better than either: two copies at 15 seconds each is a Nightmare Bloom roughly every seven seconds. Lapure is listed as the strongest swap on this page for exactly that reason, and the slot it should take is Orserk or Bakemi rather than a Bellanoir.

Expecting the nuke multiplier in the scaling table

The case for it
Nightmare Bloom 1.1x to 2.5x multiplier is the largest number in the build, so it should be the headline row in the rank-scaling section.

It cannot be. The 1.0 export stores activated-skill multipliers on the skill itself rather than as a partner-effect curve, so `resolveContribution` finds nothing and the table skips it. The role cards carry it as an explicit note instead. This is a data-shape limitation, not a judgement about its importance.

Treating this as the safe Bellanoir build

The case for it
With Bakemi cutting enemy attack by up to 80%, the party has meaningful mitigation built in.

That 80% only applies while the target is poisoned and only from your hits. Stop shooting, or let Poison lapse, and the party has no defensive layer at all. The Knocklem Poison Tank exists for players who want the same status core with something that can actually hold the field.

Where to get everything

6 stops

Two Bellanoir Liberos is the ask, and it is a real one: it is a raid boss, so you need two successful raid lines or a breeding project.

  1. Obtain two Bellanoir LiberosIt comes from the Bellanoir Libero raid or a Huge Dark Egg. Two copies is the build core requirement rather than a luxury, because the alternating cooldown is what doubles the nuke rate.
  2. Catch or breed the support threeOrserk, Prixter and Bakemi are all ordinary catches or breeds. Every recruitment route is on the role cards above.
  3. Condense both Bellanoirs firstNightmare Bloom multiplier runs 1.1x at rank 1 and 2.5x at rank 5. Condensing more than doubles the nuke, which is a larger swing than any other investment available to this party.
  4. Condense the rest to rank 5The remaining headline values are rank 5: 65% from Prixter, 80% from Bakemi and 5% per stack from Orserk for 150% at the cap.
  5. Get a Poison move onto the fieldPrixter knows Poison Blast at level 1. If you would rather a Bellanoir carry it, the Dark Skill Fruit version works on any pal regardless of element.Dark Skill Fruit: Poison Blast
  6. Farm Lord of the Underworld onto the partyWorth 30% Dark damage per carrier, and Nightmare Bloom is a Dark skill. Serenity is the other passive worth chasing, for its 30% active skill cooldown reduction.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why run two Bellanoir Liberos?

Because activated partner skills are per-pal. Each copy carries its own 30-second cooldown, so alternating between them fires Nightmare Bloom roughly every fifteen seconds instead of every thirty. Doubling the nuke rate is the entire reason the duplicate slot exists, and it is worth more here than any single support pal would be.

What applies the Poison?

Nothing in the party slots. No partner skill in Palworld 1.0 applies Poison passively, so it has to come from an active skill. Prixter learns Poison Blast at level 1, and skill fruits work on any pal regardless of element, so feeding one to a Bellanoir Libero lets the pal you are already fielding apply it without a swap.

Why does the nuke multiplier not appear in the rank scaling table?

Nightmare Bloom multiplier is stored on the activated skill rather than as a partner-effect curve, so the resolver that builds that table finds nothing to surface. The role card carries it explicitly instead: 1.1x at rank 1 rising to 2.5x fully condensed.

What does Lapure change?

It halves both Bellanoir cooldowns, taking each from 30 seconds to 15. Combined with the two-copy alternation that is a Nightmare Bloom roughly every seven seconds. It is the strongest swap available to this party, and it should replace Orserk or Bakemi rather than a Bellanoir.

Why is this called a glass cannon?

Three slots are damage and two are status payoff, with nothing defensive. Bakemi 80% enemy attack reduction is the only mitigation, and it only applies while Poison is on the target and while you keep landing hits. Stop attacking and the party has no protection at all.

How is this different from the Bellanoir Libero Nuke build?

That build runs one Bellanoir and spends the other four slots amplifying it, including Lapure for permanent uptime and Orserk for stacking Attack. This one runs two Bellanoirs and pairs them with a Poison core, trading amplification per cast for twice as many casts.
